Haley is about to drop out.

I had high hopes for her. I think Trump did, too.

IMO, she has destroyed her chances for 2028 and beyond

Yep she killed her future chances, if she had dropped out and endorsed Trump earlier she could have got a good position in the Trump administration when Trump destroys Dementia Joe in November.

Oh yeah, she could have even been VP.

IMO, Trump was grooming her for that position by giving her foreign policy experience at the UN.

I still don't know what the substantial difference was between Haley's and Trump's political stances.

Haley's may have been even worse.
She was going after "entitlements" that Trump promised to protect.

They seemed equally deplorable to me.

The person doesn't matter. The policy positions matter.

The sight of Trump makes me vomit,
but if he were going to establish a UK style National Health Service
and an abolition of "right to work" laws,
I'd have to seriously consider voting for the troglodyte myself.

I'm not so hung up on the current social issues as the younger, modern liberals are.
