His references as to what he inherited in his first year was dead on accurate....are you implying that as a senator he was complicit in the monumental fuck-ups of the Shrub & company? If so, which ones and how?

Obama's SOTU essentially called out the party of no, the BS the SCOTUS just panned out, the wishy-washy Dems, the demi-god pols of both parties and the BS pundits. So the speech doesn't make him popular.

Personally, I think what he said about tuition loans is pie-in-the-sky, and I wasn't thrilled about his nodding concession to nuke power plants, coal mining and off-shore drilling. But overall, I'd give him a B-

No, I said that uppity is a synonym for condescending, which it is. While it can be used in a racial context, that was not my intent. You inferred something that was not implied. In my experience people do that when they have a guilty conscience about something.
