Nothing anti science about Dems and once again you prove your idiocy in trying to interpret what you read in a Science text.

Humans is a top level category of which Embryo, Fetus and Child all fit under if they come from humans. Just as Mammals is a top level category above humans.

What that DOES NOT mean is that human embryo is a baby or child in the same way and with all the rights of a new born or 10 year old.

Expresslane you are simply too stupid to try and do a gotcha with a science point.

A few put things on pause because they're not putting their patients first. I'd be finding a different doctor...I haven't heard of a single case where they cancelled anything...
They needed to regroup and get a handle on properly caring for the embryos..negligence is what caused this issue in the first place, you know...

Some of the ignorant far left Democratic Socialist loons do not realize that the IVF law in Ala. is not about IVF, it’s about the fact that the law says that embryos are people…something most of us already knew.

These “people” do not change into “non-people” after 2-4- 8 or 9 months.

You don't actually believe a human life begins at conception. There is zero chance you would risk injury to rush into a burning fertility clinic to save the petri dishes of blastocysts.

Yep. ExLax used to pretend to be a "doctor" when she first arrived here. Yet when presented with a picture of 12 different embryos, she couldn't pick out which one was human. She's just another humbug who uses a fake career to spread disinformation and propaganda, bash opponents, and gain fake cred -- and not a particularly bright one, either.

You would think that forced-birthers like ExLax, who believe that a zygote = a child, would want to protect IVF clinics so that more "children" could be created in little dishes. Instead they appear to favor locking up clinicians and parents who need to dispose of unused and unnecessary zygotes. IVF is already a massively expensive procedure. Adding to that the cost of lifetime storage or prison will have a deleterious effect on both parents and clinics.

The poor political extremists here are overreacting as usual...not paying attention in the least to what is actually happening...
A family lost it's chance to have children due to the negligence of a clinic...the lower court wouldn't rule it as a loss, so the Supreme Court did.
They'll be more careful in the future...if they're worried about legal risks that says something about the clinic and the doctors, not the ruling. It's never been an issue in the past...IVF is expensive...it should be properly monitored from start to finish...
That's their job...

How often have you seen a MAGA moron blurt out that women should just keep their legs closed? I've seen it dozens if not hundreds of times just on this forum. Sex is the first thing on their minds, not embryos.

The law in Alabama now says that embryos are people and if you destroy an embryo, you have destroyed a person.

The IVF law in Alabama establishes that embryos are people and have rights...the right to life.

IVF was not made illegal.

They know this...It was a ruling necessary to resolve a specific case....They'll fine tune it...I can't imagine one of their families going through IVF, having embryos negligently destroyed, and their reaction? Oh, well...
This is also the group that thinks it's fine to abort a clump of cells, but a miscarriage is the loss of a baby..
