Yes we are aware of your attempt to always split hairs on this but here are the facts of the matter.
the shutdown caused massive cost increased across the line. And what you call legitimate price raiser, average consumers see as inflation when they show up to the local store and have to pay way more for everything. NONE OF THEM say 'oh don't worry, that is not inflation and is just "legitimate price raises'. so this attempted distinction is meaningless here as Biden IS being blamed for this aspect too under the label of inflation.
Excess profit taking is also 'legitimate price raiser' I would guess you would not categorize that under inflation either. But again, like above, no is trying to factor that out so Biden is not blamed.
And yes, stimulus and bailout money also causes inflation, which we accept but use anyway when not doing so, during catastrophic events such a world wide pandemic, or the 2007/8 Banking collapse could instead plunge the world into Recession or depression as we learned in both the great depression and great recession when the gov't held back allowing the 'markets to go where they headed' resulting in massive harm to all citizens.
If the US did not look to bailouts during covid a significant percent of business and homeowners would have went bust way beyond what we experienced, thus leading to depressed spending in the future, thus starting a deflationary period which is even worse than inflation.

A sixth grader could destroy his argument. Covid caused supply chain issues that impacted supply at the very time when pent up demand was being unleashed on the economy. But I suspect that Assclown could not possibly understand that. It happened all over the world. We have done by far the best job in managing inflation, which is why you have now seen almost a full year of wage growth exceeding inflation. There is no serious economic discussion possible here because frankly, the cult is too goddamn fucking stupid to engage in one.
cost increases due to real scarcity is not inflation.
it's just market forces.
the inflation is from the excessive money printing and zero percent fractional reserve banking.
knowing what words mean isn't "hair-splitting".
See my last post and realize why you are stupid if you think when Fox news and people on this forum blame Biden for 'inflation', they are not factoring in the significant part of prices increases, since 2020, that have come from supply chain issues.
The TOPIC of inflation as discussed in right media and here, INCLUDES the price raises due to supply chain and NO ONE is trying to calculate them and factor them out to say 'Biden is not blame for that and is only responsible for the monetary supply part'.
As the word inflation is used here and on the news they are including BOTH aspects.
So if you want to live in a bubble and look at your own way, go ahead, but that is NOT what the rest of us are discussing, you simpleton.

your refusal to make the distinction is because you do not WANT to actually discuss the two remedies, NOT doing shutdowns, and NOT doing massive money printing and spending.
your intentional confabulation of the two allows to avoid a serious discussion of either.
ROTFLMFAO!!! So 'market forces' isn't inflation? OMFG what a goddamn fucking moron. Jesus Christ, a first grader would know that. It is just unbelievable how goddamn stupid he is.
Wrong.
the reason to not make the distinction is because when everyone screams about INFLATION today and blames Biden NOBODY is saying 'but i am not considering any of the price increases due to supply issues. i am giving Biden a pass for that, and doing the math in my head and taking it out'.
So your point is meaningless and stupid. Since Biden took power there has been this complaint about INFLATION and that complaint absolutely includes the price increases due to supply chain issues and covid.
So for you to say, that is not inflation is meaningless and stupid as everyone is including it in, even if you are not.
I don't even both arguing that part with him as i understand the genesis of the distinction he is trying to make, even if he does not fully.
BUt as i say his point is irrelevant regardless. For sake of argument if we granted him the distinction and said they are two distinct and different aspects and you can call them each different things, it is still a fact that when Biden is criticized for inflation the word people are using includes BOTH those aspects.
it is all lumped in together under 'inflation'.
i understand the genesis of the distinction he is trying to make
you're a fucking idiot banker fascist who is trying to lie about the meaning and cause of inflation.
inflation is not included in the basic supply/demand curve graphs.
it's an intellectually and rationally different thing than regular market price changes NOT due to inflation.
this is part of your banker liar de-education agenda.
now go eat a steamy pile.
or try unwarranted and baseless condescension again.
