You don't get to put words in people's mouths. You don't get to 'translate'.

The States are the only ones that can change the Constitution, and they also have a similar right to bear arms described in their own constitutions. They would not only have to amend the Constitution of the United States, they would each have to amend their own constitutions as well.

Or they could ignore their own constitution and the Constitution of the United States and effectively leave the Union. This has already happened to California, Colorado, Hawaii, and New York.

The right of self defense is inherent. It is not possible to take that away or to destroy it.

So? The Constitution can change too, but only the States can change it, and they are NOT likely to give up that much of their sovereignty. Indeed, the right of self defense is inherent. It cannot be destroyed by the likes of you or by any government, no matter how oppressive.

The Constitution of the United States is owned by the States, not the people directly. This is not a democracy. It is a republic. We have a constitution. It is a federated republic. We have layers of constitutions.

I have no socks, Sock. I do not need them. I have never seen any socks for gfm7175 or IBDaMann either. I assume because they also don't need them.
 
So called gun culture is very easy to explain if anyone ever took the time to do it and if the side asking the question would actually listen to and accept the answer. It comes from Rural America and hunting. I grew up in a home with multiple guns. Every single one had a purpose.....FOR hunting. Everyone,...and I do mean everyone, learned how to shoot and the proper use and care of firearms at a very young age. The only time the guns came out of the gun case was to practice up a little before hunting season and re sight them in or during actual hunting season whichever season that may be. The only other exception was to do a little target practice with a 22 long gun both for fun and to hone your skills as a marksman. A 22 is a great way to do that as the rounds were cheap as hell and easily available. Its not like we LOVED our guns....LOL,....thats just crazy and weird. Guns are a tool,...nothing more. We produced food with those tools and also bonded together with friends and family on the different hunts depending on time of year.

I was once a gun banner....then I got taught that using guns against our government abusers is our only hope.
