The Blue state deaths and mistakes made were horrific but were done when there was little actual knowledge on the virus and EVERY SINGLE place being hit in the first wave was suffering those massive deaths.

Conversely as the vaccine came in to play deaths world wide and in Blue states plummeted. We now had BOTH knowledge and a vaccine to protect the masses.

Red States and Magats however, thx to a misinformation campaign suffered their mass death waves AFTER the knowledge and vaccine existed to massively reduce them. They had NO EXCUSE but their stupidity.

Even my dementia addled uncle was able to read things and sound "normal" that way. Seriously, prepared remarks are not what I suggested, nor what will reassure folks. Either take video of him, as these folks suggest that he is, "being on top of things" not one of him reading prepared remarks. Show him capable at all times of the day, not just in his "lucid" 3 hours of the morning before the lid the day.

If you want folks reassured do more than say, "See? He read this one okay!"

If he really wanted folks to be sure of his cognitive ability he'd simply take the cognitive test and remove all doubt. Showing the video of him doing the job would even be great campaign opportunity.
