For the reverse racism neocon/ morons

While I agree the police went way over the line... I am not seeing what this has to do with reverse racism. Could you explain?

it's racist because the assault team was blue and the kid was not. Top wants to make it out that it was because the victim was committing the crime of being black.

Why don't people of color believe the police? Have an answer for that one, hot shot?

And I love the fact that the mere mention of the kids skin color is a charge of racism against the police. Get your head out of your ass, counselor.

what do you for a living? or are you too much of a coward to admit it? you seem brave enough to bash someone else, why don't you tell us what you do for a living, you're so brave to make fun of someone else....

why don't you answer big guy, you seem to know the answer, spout it out...we all know its obvious...there is a perception in the minority communities that police are racist....sometimes that perception is true and sometimes it is not....but you know this and yet you continue to play this ignorant game, you are making toptard look smart

you haven't once said boo about toptard's racisism charges and in fact feel compelled to mention the kids skin color in a manner that indicates you fully believe it is racism....

people might take you more seriously if you weren't such a hack

When will blacks learn that when they see someone that is yelling at them "We are the police, stop, don't run or we will shoot you" why do they not understand that.

You're wrong on this one nigel. it's just as reactionary to always disbelieve the police as well.

maybe because it doesn't always have to be the police?

You know I was thinking about this. I'm not necessarily going to stop just because some un-uniformed person starts hollering, "Stop, police!" I don't want to weigh in on the subject of this thread but the police shouldn't necessarily expect me to stop in a similar situation.

Aren't they required to identify themselves? Even then it could be fake; women driving alone are especially vulnerable to such scams and there have been a few PSAs to expose this practice. The recommended strategy is to call 911 and check if the attempted stop is legitimate, but to keep going until it's confirmed.

how the uber liberal simpleton jump to conclusions

we have no proof of racism and no proof of brutality, yet you two have already convicted the officers.

Here's a newsflash, twerp. It happens all the time here. That's why Pittsburgh police were investigated by the Justice Dept. and were under a consent decree a few years ago. That's why an independent review board had to be created. And yet the problems still exist.

"In 1996, after the deaths of two African-American men in Police custody, the ACLU and the NAACP filed a class action lawsuit against the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police, alleging a pattern of civil rights abuses. After an investigation, the US Justice Department joined the suit in January 1997, stating "that there is a pattern or practice of conduct by law enforcement officers of the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police that deprives persons of rights, privileges, and immunities secured and protected by the Constitution and laws of the United States."[1]

After a brief court challenge, the City entered into a consent decree with the Federal Government in April 1997 that outlined the steps that it would take to improve its conduct. The decree was lifted from the Police Bureau in 2001, and from the Office of Municipal Investigation in 2002."

you such an idiot. you have no proof, you know it, so you raise totally unrelated topic that has nothing to do with the thread. you have no clue if the police witnessed certain activity. you further are a dishonest liberal hack by claiming no white kids ever get arrested for being suspected of criminal activity.

according to the criminal complaint they identified themsevles as policers, yet he still ran....

like i said, i am not passing judgment, unlike you liberal moron, until we know more facts and circumstances....you're just an ignorant tool that convicts any white person without ever presuming innocence

Yeah, they "witnessed" him walking down the street with a bulge in his pocket that turned out to be a bottle of Mountain Dew.

Maybe the cops would have a bit more credibility if they had actually turned up at the preliminary hearing.

While this does have some truth to it, it's not the 'white boys network' anymore. That 'thin blue line' allows cops of any color to get away with just about anything short of an overt criminal act. The real disgusting part about it all, is that most people still believe that cops are entitled to act that way. They even refused to convict a cop of murder for shooting and killing an unarmed man in a pair of swim trunks, simply because he's a cop.

Yep, we've had similar incidents too. They fall under the heading "driving (walking, talking, gathering, etc.) while black".

christie....it happens ALL the time....

just because it happened before, doesn't mean it happened now. you are jumping to conclusions without knowing all the facts. simple as that.

so it is alleged he ran. what if he did run, and what if he did resist arrest by fighting back with police and it did in fact take some force to subdue him.

you are looking at this in a totally racist manner. the fact you have to focus on his skin color shows you're not objective.

No, we're looking at the fact that if the a white boy had been in his position, he never would have been given a second glance, let alone stopped.

Save your snarky comments for your gated community, I live here and see what the system is like on a daily basis.

you're so dishonest

it wasn't a rant, number one....number two, IF he did run, it is a factor, anybody who has watched "cops" even for five minutes knows that it doesn't matter if you're white or black, you run and they beat you down, doesn't make it right, but to claim that me stating it was alleged he ran makes me a racist is the stupidest thing anyone could ever say. then again, par for the course with you. your lack of education is pitiful.

if you weren't such a racist liar, you would know that...

I'm sure the police report says he "ran" from them. What else are they going to say to cover their behinds after beating the kid to a pulp? This kind of "closing ranks" is SOP for Pittsburgh cops.

And believe me, I know more facts than you because 1. I live here, and 2. it's been on the news and updated constantly since the incident.

You are jumping to conclusions without knowing all the facts, which in your case proves that a little knowledge is a dangerous thing.

what conclusion have i jumped to? specifically point it out.

so it happens every day, all the time....aren't you being a bit hyperbolic
