Biden is afraid to debate Trump.

Yea, but an approximate 50% drop from 2020 in turnout for Biden in S. Carolina and his not being on the ballot at all in N. Hampshire doesn't make for a good start to his reelection campaign...

2020 was a congested primary. You have completely made up this "argument".

Well, this time Biden is running uncontested and the turnout for Democrat primaries has been extremely low even if Biden cruises to a win in them. Nevada just held theirs and the turnout by Democrats was just 16% of the number registered in that state. (98,300 votes out of 602,000 possible).

Televise debates are a big farce, anyway.

Solve the world's problems with 90 second sound byte answers.

Leave all the mics open so that people can step on one another's answers.

Some people who defend the debates believe that they show how an individual reacts
to on the spot pressure.

There is no on the spot pressure.
It's a stupid TV show.
A very stupid one.

What's more, the individuals don't really matter.
The policy positions matter,
and the TV debate forum is no place to expound on policies.

TV debates are entertaining to people with very shallow perceptive ability.
That's my view.

That is to be expected and you know it.

It would be political malpractice for Biden to debate him now, don't elevate him to the level of nominee until he is...

I also know that if this (Trump is kept off the ballot by legal and political shenanigans) that it is looking damn good and possible that the November election won't be considered valid by well over half of the US population. That is a HUGE problem. You don't have to like Trump, you can hate him all you want, but if you can't recognize that issue is headed our way right now like a 200 foot tall tsunami, you are a fool.

It is the defining issue.

If Americans can not decide for whom they want to vote, democracy will die.

Judges do not decide who is on the ballot. The American people do.
