The chairwoman of the Republican National Committee, Ronna McDaniel, has told former President Donald J. Trump she is planning to step down shortly after the South Carolina primary on Feb. 24, according to two people familiar with the plans.

Mr. Trump is then likely to promote the chairman of the North Carolina Republican Party, Michael Whatley, as her replacement, according to several people familiar with the discussions. Under the arcana of the committee’s rules, however, Mr. Trump cannot simply install someone, and a new election must take place.

longest serving RNC Chair... she's been there since 2017. She's a huge Trump fan. However that doesn't appear to be the money making set of priorities in the Republican party that they thought it would be, ay?

Conservatives never seem to learn.....keep showing up a day late and dollar short running their yaps.
 
This is a great spot for a reminder of the theory that the CCP is already in charge, doing a controlled implosion.

Maybe her complete failure over many years plus the refusal to replace her is a feature not a bug.
 
I read a few days ago that he was blaming her for the campaigns and the party's financial problems. She was ousted faster than I thought. Trump says the party does.
