I started it and gave up. More accessible is his short story collection, The Dubliners. The last story, "The Dead", is a powerhouse.

I looked it up on wiki and put it on my reading list. All the stories looked interesting.

The Odyssey is pretty easy to read once you get in sync with the language. The characters in it are the same as the characters in today's novels... maybe a bit more violent.

I guess it's a matter of getting the style. The short story "The Dead" was a slog. I can see why he's known as an Irish poet since he writes in such a poetic manner.

A late friend of mine watched that film with his wife every year on a particular holiday.
Not sure which, but it may have been St. Paddy's.

They give you 3 things to remember then ask you after a few minutes what they are. You draw a circle representing a clock then draw the hands to show 10 after 10. There are a few more. When Trump was proud of passing it, it told a lot about him. He talked about it being difficult. That too was revealing. It is deliberately easy . If you cannot do that test, it shows something wrong. If the test was difficult, there would be many people failing it.But it is not really fail /pass/ It is to show something in your thinking is diminishing.

Logistically, I don't believe trump could be imprisoned.

You won't have to worry about legacy issues. trump is a national embarrassment that even Republicans don't want to recognize.

Oh, he is in serious jeopardy of going to prison. Running for office is no excuse. No person is above the law. Besides, he is legally ineligible to hold office. No office, no pardon. He thinks he can delay convictions until he gets into office and then give himself a big fat free pardon. Problem is, he has to get into office to do that. That is by no means assured. He could very well lose the election, and have to face the courts regardless of running.

His number one excuse to get out of being convicted goes away on November 5.

That'd be the most probable cause. There's certainly something wrong with him that used to be masked with Adderall or speed but now appears to be so advanced that the drugs aren't working anymore....or his health is so frail they can't handle the drugs at risk of a heart attack.
