Gold bars stashed in Dem senator's home recovered after 2013 violent robbery

I am not giving up, as I know Schumer to be a very persuasive and influential man.

Here is what I say, I ask what is more important- sucking up to an old out of date snoberish precedent- or realizing that we have a man sitting in Congress that has been accused of being an agent for Egypt- that we already know is a crook?

Trust me, Schumer knows the danger of this, and wants the shyster scalawag to be gone as much as anyone.
I am heartened that you want the crook gone now you need to work on the crook in the oval office.

I'm scared they may be pissed off after losing.

Oh yes, Philly is going to come into Jerry world like mad hornets that just had their little playhouse torn down!

Well, the Cowboys have a Playhouse all of their very own, and I am betting they will defend it very well!

I am already starting to see visions of several Cowboys jumping into Jerry's Salvation Army Pot on Sunday!

I agree. I actually look for this to happen. By the time MEET THE NATION rolls around Sunday, and the fever is pitched even higher, more Democrats and Republicans will be on board!

I've always been more of a fan of FACE THE PRESS.

I'm glad we can agree on some things. I hope you are right about this one.

To be fair, I think what Menendez said, was that he picked that up from his parents, who DID live in Cuba.

Parents pass on a lot of habits to their offspring.

I can see this POSSIBLY being the case with him.

Seems like he would have hidden it better, though.

Like maybe had a safe installed, concealed under the concrete slab of the house inside of a storage closet or something.

Buried in a sealed plastic tub under the garden by the back fence.
Fair points, which is how I know he's full of shit. At his age, how many times do you believe he had to really hide his money from our govt.?

I should rephrase, because that's exactly what he was doing.

How many times did he feel that the govt. would just walk into his house and take his money if it was not ill gotten gains?

I think we both boo-bood! :whoa:

It's actually Face the Nation, and Meet the Press!

It's OK, people understand because we are old farts!

Well, I knew that it was the other way around.

I thought you misquoted the name on purpose for humorous reasons.

That's the kind of thing I occasionally do my own self and why I intentionally posted it backwards too.

There are a lot of stories about that very thing happening to people who deposit large amounts of cash.

https://www.businessinsider.com/the...The IRS is using a,a public interest law firm.

So, he's not just pulling some desperate, Santosian nonsense out of his ass, that has zero basis in reality.

I'm not defending him mind you, but his explanation, when viewed in perspective, should be given at least some consideration.

Menendez will get his day in court. If he cannot defend himself well, he will be booted out. The Dems are not protecting him. but the crimes are just allegations at this point.

Good job!

Thanks, I actually goofed, but was speaking in general terms- like the Sunday Morning Live National News Discussions, Interviews, and round table discussions, of the news events of the past week.

Those are pretty popular with the people who are not in Church. Also popular with the NFL fans, as they warm up their TV's and get dialed in for the NFL Pre-game shows and games of the day.

However, the Sunday Morning National News Related discussions would actually do those people in Church a lot of good to tune into them, or at least keep up with National News Events and what is going on in the political sphere.

I mean, a lot of shit has happened since Jesus died on the cross!

You're "preaching to the choir" as they say.

Pun intended. ;)

The thing is about the NFL EAST, we all know each other the best because our teams are built to beat each other.

The Cowboys lead the overall series, but the Eagles gained the upper hand during the 1960s and 2000s before the Cowboys took back the slight upper hand in the 2010s. The matchups have been the most frequently featured on NBC Sunday Night Football with a total of 16; the series is currently tied at 8–8.

And just about every year, Philly beats the Cowboys on their turf, and then we return the favor on their visit to our PLAYHOUSE!

And also the Cowboys and Eagles are just about as evenly matched, as far as talent, as any other two teams in the NFL!

So, basically, the only single advantage either of these two teams have on the other, is the 12th man- THE FANS!

The only chance Dallas will have to win the division, short of a miracle, depends on the outcome of this game.

But then, both teams largest challenges are yet ahead with them both having to play the best teams in the league, in the remainder of their games left to play.

Dallas 30 Eagles 27

Get your popcorn ready!

so you disagree with booting Santos before he is convicted. Interesting

It will probably be a game, where the lead goes back and forth, until the clock runs out on one of them!

Hopefully it runs out on them!
