IRS whistleblowers to testify behind closed doors amid Biden impeachment inquiry
The IRS whistleblowers who allege the federal investigation into Hunter Biden has been influenced by politics are testifying before the House Ways and Means Committee behind closed doors Tuesday.

Gary Shapley, who led the IRS’ portion of the Hunter Biden probe, and Joseph Ziegler, a 13-year special agent within the IRS’ Criminal Investigation Division, will sit for a closed-door hearing during the committee’s executive session

The whistleblowers are set to discuss information "protected under Internal Revenue Code Section 6103," according to the committee, meaning the information is related to confidentiality of tax returns.
Shapley and Ziegler have alleged political influence surrounding prosecutorial decisions throughout the Hunter Biden investigation, which began in 2018.

Shapley has said that decisions "at every stage" of the probe were made that "had the effect of benefiting the subject of the investigation."

And Ziegler has said that Hunter Biden "should have been charged with a tax felony, and not only the tax misdemeanor charge" and that communications and text messages reviewed by investigators "may be a contradiction to what President Biden was saying about not being involved in Hunter’s overseas business dealings."....

...The closed session at Ways and Means is set to take place a week before Assistant U.S. attorney Lesley Wolf is set to be deposed by the House Judiciary Committee after being subpoenaed last month.

Her deposition, set for Dec. 14, comes after Shapley alleged Wolf sought to block investigators from asking questions related to President Biden throughout the years-long federal investigation into Hunter Biden.

Let's see where Wolf got her orders from. I suspect they came from Garland's assistant AG. Clearly there was an effort to protect Hunter and prevent questioning that would lead to Joe Bribem. Let's see Wolf's emails.

Is this the guy who said there was a whole bunch of obstruction, in regards to the IRS looking in to certain Hunter Biden stuff and when told his testimony was tied to years when Trump was in power, he stuttered and stammered and tried to not admit that??

Or was that the other 'whistleblower', as i recall at least two of them were forced to admit the 'obstruction' they were speaking to happened when Trump was in charge and Biden was a private citizen. Thus it was Trump's DoJ and IRS protecting Hunter.

It's so damning they don't dare let the public hear the testimony?

Or is this another case of they are taking the testimony in private so they can lie about it?

I love the testimony by Shapley that Wolf was obstructing the investigation between 2017 and 2020 when she told them they couldn't interview the President's children!!

There are some things that IRS whistleblowers are not able to publicly disclose by IRS code law. So that has to be done behind closed doors. Nothing sinister about it.

Let me tell you what is sinister about it. What is sinister about it, is Gomer, I mean Comer, likes to be the SINISTER one to come back to the open hearing after putting his spin on things, and lie to Congress and the People about what was actually said behind those closed doors!

Which totally defies the intentions of Congress to have these testimonies held behind closed doors!

Because this is what Comer has done- TIME, AFTER TIME, AFTER TIME again, according to Weiss who recently testified behind closed doors before the Committee!
