The Judge in the D.C. Criminal Case against Trump.. Has ruled that Trump is not immune from criminal prosecution and is not, and never was a monarch.

Because Trump is not a monarch he does not enjoy unlimited immunity from criminal prosecution.

Trump was elected president, not appointed monarch by divine right.


Time for Trump to get his appeal going, hopefully the DCA and S.Ct. will act fast enough to keep the coming Court date.

Most appeals would not require a continuance of trial, but this appeal is interlocutory, beaning the trial cannot go forward as long as this issue is on appeal, I think the D.C. Court will act fast. Then we will see if the S. Ct. will sandbag this for Trump putting the trial past the election or not.

I do not think the Supreme Court would rule in Trumps favor, out of loyalty, but I think some might delay for that reason.

I think the DC appealate court will act fast...it will agree with the judge...and the SCOTUS will refuse to hear an appeal of that decision. I think the majority of the SCOTUS will do everything it can not to get involved.

I agree, but the question becomes. How long will it take the Supreme Court to refuse the case. The conservative majority could delay a ruling to the point that it makes the trial happen after the election.

There is a part of me saying that the "delay" ship has already sailed. I think this piece of garbage will manage to delay things until after the election.

Anyone who votes for him will vote for him whether the cases are judicially decided or not. Anyone with a functioning brain realized that Trump tried to overturn an election here in America...something I never thought I would ever see.

Anyone saying they will vote for Trump unless he is convicted of the crimes we all know he committed...but will not vote for him if he IS convicted...are just bullshitting us. They are going to vote for Trump no matter what. Those people are without a soul...so the timing of the trial is not that important to how people vote.

I agree. But there is a significant difference between whether Trump is convicted before the election, to whether he is convicted after he is elected. I’m not saying he will get elected, just the scenario in which he does would be grim. Trump would order the justice department to drop the case against him.
