Newsom cleaned the shithead from Florida's clock. Especially when it was DeSantis AND Hannity against Newsom. Not only that but DeSantis cheated. there was not supposed to be ANY visual aids, graphics used anywhere. Newsome used none, Hannity and DeSantis both used them. There was supposed to be no consulting by either on breaks with advisors, DeSantis went to take a piss during a break with a bunch of advisors. Newsom never left the podium. Desantis had a teleprompter convieniently located where noone else could see it. The handpicked visuals from Hannity were plain fucking wrong, never took into account "per capita" anything. Of course there is more crime and homeless and migration in California, it has twice the fucking people that Florida has.
According to census figures an estimated 50,701 people moved from California to Florida between 2021 and 2022. Seeing as California has a population of 40 million while Florida’s population is 20 million or one half of California’s that means that if 25,000 people moved from Florida to California the migration between states per capita would be the identical. But they aren’t the same, 28,000 people moved from Florida to California between 2021 and 2022. Per capita more people are moving from Florida to California than California to Florida. Saying more people are leaving California than any other state is meaningless, of course there are more leaving, the state has far more people than any other state.
California has a GDP of $3.5 trillion while Florida has a GDP of $1.3 trillion. Do those numbers really mean anything if you don’t take into consideration that California has twice the number of people? No, of course not. To compare the two you would have to double the GDP of Florida to $2.6 trillion to get an accurate comparison because Florida has half the people living there. The accurate comparison for GDP per capita would be California with $3.5 trillion and Florida with $1.3 trillion X 2 or $2.6 trillion. Oh well, I guess California beats the shit out of Florida in both migration AND GDP.

If that was really the concern, you Reichwingers wouldn't be trying to defund Planned Parenthood, which provides education, health care, and *contraception* so that abortions aren't necessary.
