Ex-officer Derek Chauvin, convicted in George Floyd's killing, stabbed in prison

To be fair, the prison system should have done a much better job of securing his safety. I mean, an abusive cop in jail for manslaughter is a prime target for other inmates. But I can't say beyond technicalities I'll shed a tear for the SOB.

The gover-media censored the key fact that floyd was saying "I can't breathe," BEFORE he was put on the ground. That's why chauvin put him there as per regs. When a suspect says "I can't breathe," that means he's dying of a drug OD and when he gets to where he truly cannot breathe, he will go berzerk and injure himself or others. Asphyxiation is the worst of all deaths. That's why waterboarding is so effective as torture. So rules say you put him on the ground and hold him there with your knee. Both legally and ethically chauvin did the right thing.

I can't wait until he's killed in prison. A former cop who murdered an innocent Black man. I'm surprised he's still alive.

Innocent???
Innocent of a crime allowing use of deadly force. Unlike the Pedophile King of Thailand, King Rama-Lama-Ding-Dong. That child fucker needs to be dragged out of his palace and hung on a spike.

There has been only one case of Covid 19 here in Chonburi, and that was an English drug dealer who was deported and only showed symptoms once he arrived back in Blighty. Why are you Septics so terrified of the flu, fucking wimps!
Isn't Chonburi a hotspot for deposing King Rama X and installing a democratic government like the United States? Is that why you love the US so much, son? You want Thailand to be just like it?

If you do, then like the US, first you have to throw out your king.

Do they know who stabbed him?
If so, what happens to that guy?

At most the guy that stabbed him will get a new charge and some more time. But if he's already on a life sentence, it'll make zero difference. This is why we need a death penalty. If someone is willing to attempt murder, kill, commit violent crimes in prison, they need to be offed, not given more time. The next time this guy stabs somebody it could be a guard or some non-violent inmate serving a shorter sentence. Do they deserve the risk that that happens?

I say, you commit a serious crime in prison, you get put to death once convicted of it. It should be obvious to a reasonable person that if you are that dangerous that prison doesn't act as a deterrent, you have no reason to be kept alive.

Prisons would be safer if those that commit crimes, particularly serious violent crimes, while in them were put to death when convicted of those crimes.

He's a convicted felon. He's lucky they bothered to save his life.

What an asshole you are! He was convicted of a crime and sent to prison for it. That's how our justice system works. He wasn't in prison TO be punished, by other inmates or the guards, but AS punishment. That he was attacked, that any convict in prison is, and stabbed is a travesty. The inmate that stabbed him should be put to death on conviction because he obviously cannot or will not do his time in a prison without committing more violent crimes.

Right. Chauvin shouldn't be harmed. No one should. Including George Floyd.

My man, check your history. Even when the death penalty was in full swing across America, you had crime gangs, syndicated crime, organized crime, etc. Good police work tamped that down, and when it became obvious that there was bias in the judicial system, the death penalty was whittled down to a few states.

JUST IN: The inmate who stabbed Derek Chauvin 22 times in prison last week has been identified by The U.S. Attorney's Office 52-year-old John Turscak.

Oddly enough, Turscak is a former FBI informant!!

Coincidence? I don’t think so.

Seems like a coordinated effort to kill Chauvin.

“Turscak told investigators that he attacked Chauvin on Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, as a symbolic connection to the Black Lives Matter movement and the "Black Hand" symbol associated with the Mexican Mafia gang, prosecutors said.”
