House Speaker Mike Johnson has announced that he is releasing all J6 tapes today

Stop lying. I mean, you always lie.

The red square is where Babbitt was shot.

The Speaker's Lobby is a hallway.

Babbitt was executed.

She was breaking the law, and busting through a window during a riot.

Have you said the same for looters or rioters who were shot when they were busting through windows & doors of stores and businesses? How about the many unarmed black men & women who have been shot by police?

I feel bad for her, and wish she hadn't died. She's one of so many at this point who have lost their lives, careers or freedom because of Trump's lies. But she was part of an out-of-control mob, which I have heard the courts deem to be a weapon.

As if police and other bureaucracies never cover shit up...

I did post those guidelines in the form of the powerpoint for them. Everybody in the federal government that is in law enforcement, or uses a firearm--hell the Navy issued those one to me because I was attached to NSA Bahrain and potentially could be put in a situation where I'd have to do security shit. The NEC is something like a 9845 or something.

She was unarmed, and wasn't immediately a threat to anyone. Use of lethal force was not justified.

Also his leaving the scene was totally fucked up. Imagine some street cop shooting a suspect then just walking or driving away...

She was at the head of a horde of people breaking into the Capitol. She was pushing through a barricaded door. Then rioters were screaming, "fuck the blue". Other officers were down. If you were in that situation prove to me, you wouldn't have done the same thing. And.. do you know for sure Byrd knew Babbit was unarmed? And you keep saying Byrd "left the scene". Did he go home, or did he continue to try to stop other rioters? Until you're there in the cop's shoes you are in no position to judge his actions.

Oh GMAFB! The MAGA mooks are REALLY going to try to tell us that the riots and subsequent break-ins/assaults and such didn't happen? That the videos TAKEN BY THE PARTICIPATING YAHOOS that were e-mailed to their friends and family weren't taken? That everything else documented by various news agencies is fake? That there were no senators and security/cops that were barricaded behind those doors as the yahoos attempted to break in, and that stupid ass woman didn't hear the warnings when she attempted to breach through the window?

No, we're not to believe our lying eyes.

She did not break the window. She only trespassed. Trespassing is not a Capital crime.

I don't own anything that I would shoot someone over. Do you? I wouldn't shoot someone that wasn't a DIRECT threat to my life. They would have to have a weapon or have or be attacking me on my wife. Babbitt was 105 pounds a 5'0" tall and unarmed and was not attacking anyone. Most police say it was a bad shoot.

A LOT fewer than you think.

Babbitt was executed Byrd panicked and murdered her when he should have arrested her instead.

There were at least 6 capitol police mixed in with the rioters at the point where Babbit was at. None of them were being physically attacked. Some even stood off to one side and were not even being molested.

Byrd, by training should have advanced on Babbitt, gotten her attention and issued verbal commands and a warning. He did none of that. And don't pull the fallacy argument from ignorance either.

If you watch the video, Byrd points his weapon at the crowd. Many people in the crowd start yelling "He's got a gun!" Byrd never advances out of the room he's in. It is unclear if he issued any verbal warnings, but if he did, and I don't think he did, they were either drowned out or not made in a particularly loud voice.

Byrd had previous disciplinary fuck ups, like leaving his service weapon in a public bathroom. So, he had a history of being a fuck up.

Byrd then fled the scene. He did not stay on scene. That alone is an unforgiveable mistake. If Babbitt were so dangerous as to need shooting, and was one of a number of people present in the riot, Byrd should have stayed on scene to prevent others from entry, but he didn't.

By the way, he wasn't charged because of "Insufficient evidence," not because he was found harmless in the incident. That is, he could have totally fucked up but the investigators decided they likely couldn't get a conviction so they dropped the case.

Exactly , Byrd murdered Babbitt . It was a bad shoot.

So by your "logic" the police should have shot multiple BLM rioters correct? Remind me how many of them that the police shot. Multiple police have said the Babbitt shoot was a bad shoot. It's obvious that Byrd panicked.

Years late.

I suspect that citizen investigators will make some stunning discoveries, why is why this information has been kept from us.

Did you really type something that stupid? You say you suspect that discoveries will be made in the future, and then decry that they are being kept from us? If they have not been discovered, they cannot be withheld.

What a wild response.

You didn't answer my main question. And your answer to my secondary question was an eye opener.

She was neither violent nor mentally ill. That's Soviet - Nazi-like thinking to attribute to someone highly negative characteristics they never displayed. The person who shot her however was supposedly a trained police officer, and a senior one who was a supervisor. He should have known better than to shoot her as he did. But he chose to do so anyway, and worse, after shooting her fled the scene.

It was a totally unjustified use of force....

You are simply wrong, and stupid.

There is no instance, NONE, where the last line of defense, will surrender their charges to another person or a mob, because they won't relent and continue to approach when ordered not to.

And there simply is no denying that the tactic being used by the Insurrectionist was to approach and overwhelm the security, with superior numbers and then once they had them surrounded, the weapons of the officer became the weapons of the mob and the security was nullified.

Had the officer allowed her to pass that window and get up beside them, with the wave following her, that is security surrounding their charges to the mob, as there is nothing they can do after that.

If you think that is wrong, get even a small group of unarmed people and march at the POTUS while ignoring all orders by SS to stay back. Tell them you are unarmed and just keep moving to surround them at close quarters and see what happens.

Anyone smart (ie not you) knows you will be shot and it will be a justified shoot.
