If Yellowstone ever blows were dead. Iceland is almost as bad.
Iceland has over 130 volcanoes. Something is erupting pretty much all the time in Iceland.
Yellowstone ((the park) is not all volcano. The Yellowstone Caldera formed a lake in NW Yellowstone park. This is the old magma chamber (now collapsed). If it erupts again it would be like any granite volcano (explosion instead of pretty lava). It would produce a lot of dust, lightning around the eruption, and...that would be about it. Kind of like a St Helens again.
Of course, the park would have to evacuated (again), and surrounding areas (particularly Wyoming and Montana) would see a lot of dust and ash. Longview and Kelso used the ash from St Helens to build a levy against the river. A fair amount of it was sold (for making roadways, fly ash for wastewater treatment, tourism, etc).
