Top ten US jobs

#8 is a statistician and #9 is an accountant. Both jobs sound broing as hell to me. A good paycheck is great, but to call something the "Best Job" takes more than that.

And #10 is a dental hygienist?



A historian or biologist sound like interesting jobs.
 
Did you know that Dentists and Dental Hygienists have the highest suicide rate of all jobs in the US?

Accountants are something like 2nd amoungst CEO ranks to lawyers.

Accountants get exposed to all facets of business that's why it's considered a top job. That and the pay is up there with the highest in business school.

Welder is listed among the worst jobs, lots of welders find it facinating. Me not so much.

Thats why these sort of articles never interest me. What one person considers a top job is a worst job to another.

If you watched 'The Hangover' you get a good glimpse at what may be the reason.. lol.

Dentists go around calling themselves Drs, but their buddies bust their balls about them being just dentists.
 
I can do 4 of those jobs. (tho I would need to take some exams to become an actuary) sweet.. guess im set for life.
 
It's largely about high pay and ease of work people. It's not a fantasy Island vacation with Reberto Montelbon. LOL

Highly educated college business people dominate the top ten
Uneducated manual labor dominate the bottom ten

obviously individuals will vary

Much of this is about paycheck and long term job prospects. I learned a longtime ago that what constitutes my "best job" is only partly about pay.

In my opinion too many people sit around contemplating meaning for to long. What is there to contemplate? Your a human being and you will live probably until your in your 70's minus a disease or an accident. Now live your life. End of Story.

Yah well an aspiring photographer is not going to get a job paying 50K a year.. they will get a job freelancing for about 8K a year. Nobody hires a photographer that hasn't freelanced for 10+years. Work around is get a degree where jobs dime a dozen and work load is light enough so you can post on JPP and instead of positing pursue your hobbies. To many kids think they should just be able to do what they love right from the getgo.. that is not a responsible or realistic thing for a parent to teach.

If you want to see all the aspects of companies and spend your life in an office staring at balance sheets, then the financial analyst is a great job for you.

I'm not I posted a cnnmoney poll, this is what most americans think.

What a few trolls do for a living is not much interest to me, especially what a soon to be laid off data entry clerk loser thinks.
