You are clairvoyant? Intriguing.
The communist party is not about to relinquish control of the election process, and you know it.

The communist party is not about to relinquish control of the election process, and you know it.
Wen Jiabao was asked whether or not he could foresee competitive elections in China in 25 years' time.
"It's hard for me to predict," he replied."
Yet you have all the answers.
The communist party has not reliquished control since it came to power. It has usurped more power during that time. It has also made, what it claimed were, concessions, but what amounted to propaganda.
I am not claiming to have answers. I am making a claim based on prior behaviors.
Your claims are not widely shared by Chinese. You claim to speak for them?
Did I say that? I have simply spoken my opinion based on my observations of China. And I base my opinions on information gained from many sources, not just the state owned media.
Your opinion is given the gravity it merits.
Until the communist party in China reliquishes control, my opinion is accurate.
Let me know when that changes. lol
If the Chinese people desire such change, it will occur inevitably. That they do not is obvious.
Why does this rankle you so?
Is your megalomaniacal desire to export your 'democracy' so pervasive?
At any rate you have provided a great deal of amusement today for which I must thank you.
It does not rankle me much. I feel pity for the people subjugated by an oppressive gov't, but that is it.
The chinese people are kept under control by the current regime. If someone protests the current gov't, what happens to them? I will answer that for you, they are imprisoned in a laogai. The typical laogai has no latrine except a bucket, 10 people to a room, little or no bathing facilities, rampant disease and vermin, and guards that are allowed to beat their prisoners.
You are misinformed. What sources could you possibly have for such charges?
One-party system doesn't mean dictatorship and multi-party can't always be freedom.
The key point is that Chinese have so far done very well and much better than many governments worldwide.
Besides, I can't agree that China should copy the system of Western countries.
We have own characteristics, historically, socially, politically, culturally etc. and the systems working well in other countries may not work in China, so we have to find out a better and more suitable one by ourselves.
Present system of ours works well and is always improving.
Your one-party system imprisons those who protest its actions. That is not done in the interest of the people but out of fear of the people.
China has done well by abusing prisoners and using them to produce cheap items for export.
If we do, it will the choice of the Chinese people, not due to your insulting hectoring demands.
I'm clairvoyant....whenever there is an election with one candidate I can successfully pick the winner....You are clairvoyant? Intriguing.
Does China tell you to release USA political prisoners such as Black Panthers, Weathermen etc.?
Please name any instance where someone not 'on a ballot' in USA was elected to government office.
You cannot?
How intriguing. Yet you pretend it is otherwise to denigrate a great nation you know vitually nothing of.
Your elections are free? Now you are making mockery!
We would rather keep our system, which is working, than having show-piece multi-party democracy like many countries in the world.
For China, cultural and economic independence is much more important and needed than empty ideology.
We see parties bicker over petty differences, point their fingers at each other for faults, and get nothing done. Once another party is in charge, the first thing they do is to suspend and roll back all changes done by the previous regardless of the effect.
In the economic crisis, we see parties blaming each other for policies they set irresponsibly ages past that no one bothered to correct. We see parties hurried to the rescue of enterprises that invest heavily in the political business, leaving common individuals out.
We reject your notions. This is our right.
Will USA stop attempting to export it's failed political system?
