This isn't "some civilian casualties" this is a planned use of civilians for sacrifice so Hamas can wage a PR war.

Yes they are unacceptable but its not because of the Israelis. Israel gave control of Gaza to Hamas in 2005. The conditions in Gaza are the responsibility of Hamas and no one else.

Can you explain how Israel should eliminate the Hamas terrorist threat. Because I cannot think of any way for them to eliminate Hamas without causing the suffering of the civilian population.

BTW I think we should send a hospital ship to the Mediterranean to care for Palestinians who are injured. We should press for Egypt to help evacuate them from Gaza.

I actually can't. I'm not a military strategist, and the conditions there are extremely complicated. I understand how complex Israel's situation is right now.

But electricity, water, shelter and basic needs are extremely scarce in Gaza right now. I heard a report that hundreds of premature babies are just going to die without some restoration of power & basic aid.

Any suffering experienced by Gaza civilians is because of Hamas.

Hamas has stolen fuel intended for emergency generation use. They obviously don't care about innocent lives. I HAVE NO DOUBT that Israel will evacuate mothers and premature babies if they can. Like I said we should send a hospital to care for Palestinians that need it. I'm hoping the hospitals don't go totally dark before the IDF reaches them. Because getting the people to survive until they can be given help is critical. I worry about clean drinking water for the general population.

As to drinking water Hamas outlawed the digging of wells by Gaza civilians
