Majority Of Muslim Americans Believe Hamas Was ‘Justified’

They aren't an ally in the sense they have no military treaties with us. Israel also sells military hardware to a number of nations. Are you trying to say they're guilty of something for doing what every major arms manufacturing nation on the planet does?

Israel is a welfare state for the US. They'd collapse overnight without our military and cash. Just like Mississippi.

I don't see anything in the above that puts us in a better light than the European Jews setting up shop in the Middle East.

As I explained, I'm not looking for a good guy.
Too futile an errand.
I'm deciding whom I'd rather see win.

I would say that Native Americans in America and Canada faired far, far better than at the hands of the French, Portuguese, and Spanish throughout the Caribbean and Central and South America.

Bullshit. Israel has an actual working economy and is an exporter of a number of goods. It is the Palestinians who would utterly collapse the second foreign aid ended.

Israel is an OECD member country with a developed free-market economy. The most important economic sectors are technology, manufacturing, and diamond polishing and cutting. In 2022, Israel's GDP amounted to 501.4 billion U.S. dollars, and, according to estimates, it will increase to 611.8 billion U.S. dollars by 2026. Based on economic evaluations, the economy will grow by 6.13 percent in 2022, and it will continue to expand in the following four years, albeit at a lower rate. There is a high probability that economic growth in Israel will be higher than the average growth rate of the European Union countries.

The US gave Israel $3.3 billion in foreign aid in 2022. That amounts to a mere six tenths of one percent of Israel's GDP.

By contrast, the entirety of the West Bank and Gaza as "Palestine" has a GDP of just (estimated) $18.2 billion in 2022. Palestine receives from all sources, about between $1.5 and 2 billion a year in foreign aid. US foreign aid last year amounted to $235 million or about 1.5% of Palestine's GDP.

That means somewhere around 10% of Palestine's money is foreign aid. Without that, they'd collapse into economic ruin as they're already on the brink of it as it is.

And Iran would collapse without Russia China military and cash

And Hamas would collapse without military armed, and trained by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps

Possibly so. By the time my guys showed up in the early 20th Century, those matters had been settled.
The issue is how well did they fare compared to the Palestinians?

The Palestinians are part of the world Islamist sect,
and that sect, regardless of any national borders or various Muslim denomination affiliations,
has defined itself and it's relationship with us.

I know that I liked the majestic twin towers of the old World Trade Center
a lot more than the piece-of-shit structure that sits there now, essentially a big antenna.

To err is human.
To forgive is not the policy of the sane who wish to survive.

Fact. Drop Israel and they would be like Mississippi.

who was the leader of Palestine in 1935?

Doesn't make an iota of difference.

The Muslim population of Palestine called that land their home for over a thousand years with a small Jewish population living side by side with them peacefully.

Then it was divided in half and given to the Zionists.

Many Palestinians lost property that had been owned by their families for generations.

Yet the Bible thumpers here in the west expect them to bear no anger or resentment because Israel is mentioned in the Bible and the Jews are called God's chosen people.

The Balfour Declaration was the biggest mistake in the history of the world.

The Palestinians are one of a number of Arab tribes. And, yes, that's a good word to describe them. Tribalism is very much alive throughout the Arab world. That's why the Palestinians won't be taken in by other Arab nations. Tribalism is the biggest factor that divides the Arab world. The next biggest is a very structured class system with little upward mobility.

In fact, by comparison, the US and Native tribes practice far more of something akin to Apartheid than the situation with Israel and the Palestinians.

What did the Europeans use as justification for stealing the land of the indigenous peoples of our continent?

Looking for a good guy on this planet is the errand of a total fool.
Take the side of whom you'd prefer to win.
One of them has to be better than the other.
So either pick or accept ANY result.

Just don't annoy people with the goodie-two-shoes nonsense.

What goodie-two-shoes are you talking about?

I was only relating the other side of the story which all the knee-jerk pro-Israel right-wingers just ignore.

Nothing more, nothing less.

No need to annoy people by climbing on a high horse.

I can't speak for the bible thumpers. I'm a stone atheist.

I do expect the Palestinians to have anger and resentment.
They've got a legitimate gripe.
And they've expressed it blowing up school busses.

What's relevant to us is not who has the most righteous bitch but rather whom would we rather see win.
As a start, lets compare the number of American skyscrapers blown up by Jews and by Muslims.

Fact. Drop Israel and they would be like Mississippi.

Bullshit. Total bullshit.

Israel's top 10 exports:

Electrical machinery, equipment: US$10.2 billion (17% of total exports)
Gems, precious metals: $9.5 billion (15.9%)
Optical, technical, medical apparatus: $7.4 billion (12.3%)
Machinery including computers: $5.1 billion (8.5%)
Plastics, plastic articles: $3.2 billion (5.4%)
Other chemical goods: $2.9 billion (4.8%)
Pharmaceuticals: $2.45 billion (4.1%)
Aircraft, spacecraft: $2.43 billion (4.1%)
Mineral fuels including oil: $2.4 billion (4%)
Fertilizers: $1.5 billion (2.5%)
https://www.worldstopexports.com/israels-top-10-exports/#google_vignette

Mississippi's GDP is about $104 billion today. Israel's exports alone represent over 50% of the economy of Mississippi and the country as a whole has six times the GDP of Mississippi with foreign aid amounting to less than 1% of it.

Israel came first. Palestine is the Roman name for Israel, which the Romans imposed on it after crushing the Bar Kokhba revolt. This was done to erase all memory of the Jews and their origins/history in Israel.

The Jews are the only religious group who ever had a sovereign, independent kingdom embracing all, or almost all, of what is currently called Israel

“Palestine” got its name only after Rome finally conquered and dissolved the Kingdom of Judea ...which is where the English word “Jew” comes from

Modern Jews descended from the ancient Canaanites. Which were the first people in the region

Bullshit.

If there had been two ancient Jewish kingdoms as claimed, there would be more artifacts and archeological evidence than you could shake a stick at.

Coins, official seals, papyrus scrolls and documents, other items with marks or writing indicating official status of something.

Yet there is nothing.

Not one shred.

Like most rightie Bible adherents, you believe in fairy tales.

I've been to war.
There are no good guys in war.
War isn't about right and wrong, because there's always plenty of wrong on both sides.

You're always better off with one particular side winning over the other, however.
They can't co-exist, so pick a side.
That's the reality of war.

The anti-war pacifists of my generation were right that war is obscene.
They just missed the part that it is inevitable.

The Israelis have massacred Muslims including children.

In 1982 the Israeli Defense Forces, stood back and looked the other way while Christian militias massacred thousands of Palestinians and Lebanese Shias.

The Sabra and Shatila massacre refers to the 1982 killings of between 460 and 3,500 civilians—mostly Palestinians and Lebanese Shias—in the city of Beirut during the Lebanese Civil War. It was perpetrated by the Lebanese Forces, one of the main Christian militias in Lebanon, under the command of Lebanese politician Elie Hobeika. The killings were carried out in Beirut's Sabra neighbourhood and in the adjacent Shatila refugee camp. Two days earlier, on 14 September, Lebanese politician Bachir Gemayel had been assassinated, prompting the Phalangists to call for a revenge attack.

From approximately 18:00 on 16 September to 08:00 on 18 September, the Lebanese Forces carried out the massacre while the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) had the Palestinian camp surrounded. The IDF had ordered the militia to clear out the fighters of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) from Sabra and Shatila as part of a larger Israeli maneuver into western Beirut. As the massacre unfolded, the IDF received reports of atrocities being committed, but did not take any action to stop it.

There have been other incidents in which Israeli forces have fired live ammunition into crowds of Palestinian protesters armed with rocks.

Two sides to every story.

Did we or Britain or Russia annex Germany or Japan?

Fuck you.

We did from Mexico

And YES Russia did half of it ..... it was called East Germany

Also the United States annexed Hawaii in 1898 should native Hawaiians be slaughtering people in subdivisions if some want to ?

These are my problems how?

You keep trying to make it about moral issues when there are no moral parties involved.
Who would you prefer to win?
That's the issue with which to be concerned.
