Bullshit. Israel has an actual working economy and is an exporter of a number of goods. It is the Palestinians who would utterly collapse the second foreign aid ended.

The US gave Israel $3.3 billion in foreign aid in 2022. That amounts to a mere six tenths of one percent of Israel's GDP.
By contrast, the entirety of the West Bank and Gaza as "Palestine" has a GDP of just (estimated) $18.2 billion in 2022. Palestine receives from all sources, about between $1.5 and 2 billion a year in foreign aid. US foreign aid last year amounted to $235 million or about 1.5% of Palestine's GDP.

and that sect, regardless of any national borders or various Muslim denomination affiliations,
has defined itself and it's relationship with us.

The Palestinians are one of a number of Arab tribes. And, yes, that's a good word to describe them. Tribalism is very much alive throughout the Arab world. That's why the Palestinians won't be taken in by other Arab nations. Tribalism is the biggest factor that divides the Arab world. The next biggest is a very structured class system with little upward mobility.
In fact, by comparison, the US and Native tribes practice far more of something akin to Apartheid than the situation with Israel and the Palestinians.
