'Squad' members vote against House resolution condemning Hamas attacks against Israel

6 of the 9 Democrats who voted against the House resolution to condemn Hamas's attacks against Israel were "Squad" members, with the remaining "Squad" members voting present.

H.R. 771, which was voted upon on Wednesday night, passed by a vote of 412-10 with six members voting present.

Reps. André Carson, D-Ind., Al Green, D-Texas, and Delia Ramirez, D-Ill. all voted against the resolution. Joining them were six "Squad" members: Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-NY., Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., Jamaal Bowman, D-N.Y., Summer Lee, D-Pa., and Cori Bush, D-Mo.

One Republican, Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., voted against the measure over concerns it could escalate tensions, but still affirmed Israel's right to self defense.

Reps. Greg Casar, D-Texas, and Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass., the two other "Squad" members, voted present. Reps. Joaquin Castro, D-Texas, Nydia Velázquez, D-N.Y., Jesús "Chuy" Garcia, D-Ill., and Pramila Jayapal, D-Wash. joined them.

I'll go on record that legislators with whom I agree on many domestic issues

recorded votes on this issue which I cannot respect.

We don't choose reps on one issue.

You choose them on one issue. You choose then on if they have a D in front of their names or not. That is a dumb way to choose a government.

It is a felony under federal law to intentionally “solicit, command, induce, or otherwise endeavor to persuade” another person to engage in a crime of violence against a person or property. 18 U.S.C. § 373.

These vile Democrats who support the slaughter in Israel are inciting violence and death by supporting a terrorist group, Hamas, with their votes and speeches.
 
These people hate our form of government, our Constitution, our common values, our flag, our freedom and our people.

They support these radical colleges and college students who support Hamas, a terrorist group that just slaughtered Israeli men, women and children.

These victims were not the collateral damage from bombs from planes, thousands of feet in the air...these Israelis were victims of, in the middle of the night, barbarians going from house to house targeting and butchering, burning, grandmothers, grandfathers and grandchildren, infants.

The far left tries to conflate the two victims but it is a provable lie. Israeli pilots are dropping leaflets warning residents to leave areas where there will be bombing of Hamas targets, as we speak.

Have we come to the point when innocent Israeli men, women and infants are slaughtered...burned alive, beheaded and Democrats in Congress will not condemn it.

Yes, we have come to that point.

Parties mean something.
They represent an ideology.
In that the core values of the Republican Party are repugnant to me,
and the core values of the Democratic Party are not,
what would be the reasoning behind splitting tickets?

I can't read your mind. I simply want to know what core values do you find offensive. Like Republicans are against allowing men to compete in women's sports do you find that offense. Or republicans are against having a lot of un-vetted illegal aliens enter the company do you find that offensive? I'm just curious what core values are you talking about.

The problem is that politicians with whom I strongly disagree on this one issue

support ten or twelve of my other positions.

I'm more concerned about my health care than I am about the Middle East.

It was directed to anyone who votes against the resolution to condemn Hamas or anyone who supports them... I doubt that I agree very much with any of the positions that they take so I hope that answers your question..
