Judge Arthur Engoron has fined Trump $10,000 after holding a brief hearing in which he called the ex-president to testify about his possible violation of a gag order this morning. Engoron previously ordered Trump not to make disparaging comments about his staff; in commentary this morning, Trump appeared to make one such statement about Engoron’s law clerk.

Mr. Trump, wearing a navy suit and for the most part refraining from his usual lengthy monologues, testified that negative comments he had made earlier in the day had referred not to the judge’s law clerk — whom he is barred from attacking — but to Michael D. Cohen, who was testifying for a second day.

Well at least it doubled after the last time. I guess next time is 20,000.
 
I hate Trump and suspect that evidence will show that he's guilty as hell on most or all charges.
We'll wait until said evidence is presented in court, however.

The lump of worthless protoplasm shouldn't be gagged for speaking his mind, however,
as deficient as that mind may be.

Can Americans get anything right at all?

Both sides fuck up, albeit in completely different ways,
and at very different levels of stupidity,

but just the same, nobody is getting anything right.

The only way to attain the most possible excellence
is to strive relentlessly
for unattainable perfection.

Nobody is doing that,
so everybody is deficient.
