Tom Emmer was the designated speaker for what? Two hours? Maybe not even that long.

It's now obvious that there is no Republican that can get to 217. The only question now is how long it takes for them to come begging to the Democrats. This party is a complete fucking joke.

I see the implosion of the GOP as a blessing, not a disaster.

They've already wrecked the republic.

If they go down before the nation as a whole does,
we'll at least leave with something to smile about.
 
Emmer was taken down because he was not an election denier, a position that we know with moral certainty is the correct one, especially given the news that broke less than an hour later. Any who still believes that the election was stolen has no hope of ever leaving the Trump cult.

It’s comical how some will still tell us Trump doesn’t own the GOP

Another example how the lame “excuse” we hear, “I don’t him but I like his policies” is bullshit, the GOP embraces Trump eagerly

It has broken into 2 parties. They have the same GOP umbrella, but they hate each other as much as they hate the Dems. Sadly the Trump party is winning. They want to burn it all down and start over with a dictator. Forcing the govt to shut down is what they want.
 
I'll tell ya - it's not easy being a conservative these days.

You're either loyal to Trump, and it's very likely your career & reputation will be ruined - or you're a globalist RINO, and ostracized.

If it wasn't so dangerous for our nation, I'd be laughing my ass off at their dishonor and ineptitude. I do admit to chuckling in great satisfaction though.
