Marjorie Taylor Greene to bring resolution to censure Rashida Tlaib, accusing her of 'antisemitic activity'

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., is introducing a resolution on Tuesday to censure Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., accusing the progressive "Squad" member of "antisemitic activity" and "sympathizing with terrorist organizations."

"The [Democratic] Party has done nothing to hold her accountable. They've done nothing to rein her in, and no one else here has done it. And so I thought it was right to list examples of – this isn't just new. This isn't a one-off thing. This is exactly who she is," Greene told Fox News Digital.

Greene accused Tlaib of leading a pro-Palestinian protest on Capitol Hill last week. Hundreds of demonstrators called for a cease-fire after the terror group Hamas staged an unprecedented, bloody incursion from the Palestinian exclave of Gaza into southern Israel on Oct. 7, killing hundreds of civilians and prompting an ongoing response from the Israeli military....

If there was ever a reason to be against gerrymandering it's that we create safe districts where we elect people like MTG and Rashida Tlaib. And of course it's the fringe people like those two who get the most media attention.

How do you figure MTG's district is gerrymandered? Most of Northern Georgia is solidly Republican.

It's possible its not. For example, I don't think you could gerrymander my district if you tried it is so heavily Democratic all around me. But many districts do get gerrymandered into very safe seats and that allows for more fringe representatives.

She continues to inflame her supporters by lying that Israel bombed the Hospital in Gaza. Even after IC in USA, UK, France, and Canada have all said it was from a Palestinian rocket failed launch. Also CBS NBC ABC and CNN all say it was a Palestinian rocket. And oh by the way her district is in Detroit and a Detroit president of the local synagogue just got stabbed to death in her own front yard.

The police have no suspects and are continuing investigating but somehow they are sure it isn't a hate crime. Just an amazing coincidence I guess.:dunno:

Why would I, or anyone, have issue with someone in office who has on numerous occasions made anti-semetic statements and used anti-semetic tropes? In 2023 those types tend to be considered on the fringe, but clearly not to all people I guess.
