“Trump compares himself to Mandela”

“Returning to New Hampshire to register for its presidential primary, Trump held a rally where he focused much of his dark and at times profane speech on the criminal and civil cases against him, at one point suggesting he would go to prison like the former South African president who spent 27 years in prison for opposing South Africa’s apartheid system and was awarded a Nobel Peace Prize.”

“I don’t mind being Nelson Mandela because I’m doing it for a reason, Trump told am amped-up crowd of supporters at a sports complex in Derry, New Hampshire”

Sorta surprised Trump even knew who Mandela was, but he should have known comparing himself with a black man ain’t going to win him any support in Fox’s audience then again, most of them probably don’t know who Mandela was either. Certainly wouldn’t sell in the black community

But you got to chuckle with the escalating the martyr complex, and the fact, so many of the MAGA militia believe it

Well, that seems to be a step down from trump comparing himself to Jesus. So I'll take it.

Someone probably made the comparison and he picked up on it. I doubt he knew who Mandela was on his own.

One of those vomit inducing laughters.

Trump is one of the greats of American history, almost certainly the most important leader in 100 years.

Pinochet is more like the model.

But I always thought if anyone was casting a World War 2 movie, Trump would make a great Herman Goering.

Yet you wonder why I think you're an imbecile!

Trump Takes Mandela Under His Wing

WASHINGTON — One of the last details to be arranged in Nelson Mandela’s hastily orchestrated tour of the United States was lining up the aircraft that would take him to the eight cities on his itinerary.
After feverish and failed negotiations with everyone from the U.S. government to private charter operators, the unlikely benefactor has turned out to be none other than Donald Trump.

One of the worst 3 or 4 presidents in American history.

Right there with Hoover, Buchanan, A. Johnson.

And A. Johnson was only impeached ONCE.
