I edited my previous response, in a way that may be more illustrative.

And 1/6 wasn't all that peaceful. Trump was an incompetent President, who didn't care about democracy. Yay Trump.
 
"No mean tweets" has become a mantra for the Trump cult. As though everything else was rosy and beautiful.

Trump did more damage to the republic than any President in modern history. He gutted the State Dept. He completely trashed the American intelligence community. He destroyed the integrity of American elections, because he hates to lose. He put loyalists in key positions over anyone w/ experience or qualifications. He created the idea of "alternative facts" and made conspiracy mainstream. He divided us in a way that is so deep that it could take us a generation to recover.

He was an absolute disaster of a President, if you care about America or democracy. It was a bit more than "mean tweets."

This collapse of America has its roots 60-70 years back, with increasingly poor performance from our elites all along the trail, but ya sure....it will all be blamed on TRUMP.
