Hakeem Jeffries wins House Speaker Vote

217 votes are needed to win. If 5 Republicans crossed over, there'd be a lot of screaming. LOL

FWIW, even if Jeffries won, he's still be facing a Republican majority. It'd likely be a deadlock on several issues.

I just think it's funny that the most popular person to be House Speaker is Hakeem Jeffries:)

How many Democrats "left the plantation" and voted for someone else?

What would you ever do if Rush Limbaugh hadn't trained you like a monkey to use that plantation quip? You never would have come up with it independently on your own.

That is not true They fear for the country if an election denier who ignored summonses from the 1-6 Committee gets power, the law will suffer. Gym respects the law and the government like Trump does. Which is zero. I am no Romney fan, but he saw what Trump is from the beginning. You do not, even after 6 years of him showing it. Your dishonesty on this board is amazing and you should be ashamed.

Whereas, I see Romney as a spineless near puppet of the Democrat party who tries his hardest to go along to get along and ends up being assfucked every time. That's why he lost to Obama. Paul Ryan is another of this sort of always wanting to compromise even when he gets little or nothing out of it types.
That was fine, even desirable, 40, 50 years ago when the Democrats still weren't a total party of the Left. Today they are a party of the Left. They have a good stripe of members that are radical Leftists now too. You can't compromise with the Left. Trying to do so gets you fucked every time.
The Republicans need leadership that will call a spade a spade (a playing card reference) and make no compromises with insane Leftist positions coming from the Democrats. Trump will do that, but his problem is he has zero tact in doing it. The Left can't take that someone is pushing back and pushing back hard on them. They want the spineless Romney's and Ryan's to be the supposedly loyal opposition that in reality are just speed bumps to the Left getting everything they want.
