If your goal is to say Red America swamps and overwhelms Blue America, then you are going to have to give a believable explanation for why the Republican Party has won the national popular vote only one single time since the 1980s.

Most of those Red counties on that map probably have populations less than three thousand people.

There are probably more people in Los Angeles county than in 300 sparsely populated Red Counties
