Senate super majority in serious jeopardy

Chapdog

Abreast of the situations
Brown is gaining fast and some people are saying hes going to win now. This has become the biggest Massachusetts election since I have been living here. Its always just been the democrats win every time. If Brown pulls the upset what does that mean as a testament to Obama and the current dems in the senate? I am hearing UNION members who are for the first time ever going to vote for a Republican.

FYI: The democrats are already coming up with a contingency plan if Brown wins where they stall confirmation to the Senate until AFTER the final vote on health care.

In that case, I REALLY hope Brown wins...

Now if it comes down to a very tight race with Brown winning by a margin similar to that of MN, then they have a legitimate reason for delaying confirmation until recounts and other legal measures are accounted for.

If it is not that close and Brown wins.... then the Dems will get butchered for yet another attempt to cram this bill down our throats given that the majority of this country is not happy with the current bill.

I still find it very hard to believe a Rep actually has a shot in MA. To take away number 60 would be huge. while I hope it happens for the sake of some balance in DC, I still think Coakley will win. Please MA, prove me wrong. :)

LOL. The Ds already are planning on another trick to stick this log into the throats of the US? Fantastic. If they do that they may just make one or two more seats competitive... At this moment I would predict between 4 to 6 going R in the next election, if they try to stop this guy from voting as a representative it will be more.

Hey Chap, do you have a source for your claim that the Democrats have a "contingency plan" where they will stall his confirmation until after the Senate vote? I'm calling bullshit, particularly in light of the fact that as of this morning a vote won't take place until February or March.

LMAO... just keep right on apologizing for your Dem masters. Hack.

There has to be something to apologize for in order for someone to be an apologist. What in that opinion piece that you linked to actually supports the assertion that there is a "contingency plan" in place? Nothing.

And really, do you have anything substantive to say or are you just going to follow me around posting "hack" without a hint of irony or self-awareness?

So my posting twice on this thread, then you post = me following you around?

Fucking hack.

Im not a reporter I don't need a source on a message board on a speculative conversation item.

An opinion piece in the Hearld that has no actual source for the claim? I guess the answer is no.

By the way... you asked for the source of HIS claim. I provided you with one.

But your normal...'must defend Dems' hackery went into high gear.

By the way... I fully expect you to call out anyone from the left who posts links to articles that don't have all the sources identified. Otherwise it would simply confirm your supreme Hack title.

"No" would have sufficed.

And in the future, if you want to prevent any confusion maybe you should say "I think the Democrats have a contingency plan. . ." rather than "The Democrats have a contingency plan . . ."

Dont forget how they changed the rules about senate replacement when romney got elected as governor so he couldnt appoint who he wanted... then changed them again when Patrick was governor back to how it was.

The people in this state for the past year up until Kennedy's death (haven't heard since then) have been reading daily in the local newspapers floated tax increase ideas to the point that even the staunch union democrats have a very sour taste in there mouths.

So read any poll you want to read and ask for any source you want.. Bottom line is word on the street here is Brown is going to do well on Tuesday.
