Men cyclists take gold AND silver medals at Chicago women's race

That's why I've always been a little confused that you tend to hang out with the some who are phonies and liars...

We're trading cyber 1s and 0s among anonymous internet characters.
Nobody is getting a room at Bellagio.

I think that you're ribbing me a little bit, TOP.

How very odd. I've been voting since I was 18. I don't recall ever seeing anything about trans people on a ballot. But you losers go with what you got. We expect nothing less from you sad suckers.

PS -- It's BUD Light, "doctor." :rofl2:

You really should check out the issues that the people you vote for support. That is why Democrats are low information voters.

Forgive me I don't drink so I'm not intimately familiar with brand names like apparently you are.:ILUM: In fact the only beer I have ever drank is a few sips of a Bud over 50 years ago. I never shop in the beer and wine section of the Store. We do have a bottle of rum we bought in Puerto Rico while on a cruise ~40 years ago. It makes great Bananas Foster. :)

Newz from the commie that declares himself to be a democrat socialist which is a group that is in open support of Hamas.

"Republican" is both a noun and an adjective.
"Democrat" is just a noun.
"Democratic" is the applicable adjective.

Further, people too stupid to comprehend this should be mercifully euthanized.

Is it your genes, Fibbing flounder,
or did your mom drop you off the dressing table
and onto you head
multiple times?

I am a DEMOCRATIC Socialist fully opposed to all jihadist terrorists
regardless of what others of my kind support.

We agree on too many other issues that are more important to me.

I pray that some day, medical science advances to the point
where people like yourself can be successfully treated.

Here's the thing, TOP.
I have always been 100% opposed to transgendered males participating in women's sports.

The people for whom I vote for public office, however, have to vote on a lot of issues.
All kinds of issues.
Most of them are far more important to me than women's sports or any sports.

I'll vote for a tranny-loving wokester who supports socialized medicine and labor unions
over a God-fearing Republican who doesn't--every single time.

The Democrat in the Democratic Primary
who's the most like me
never gets the nomination.

That doesn't mean that I'll support a Republican in the general election
whose core fundamental values are 180º opposed to mine.

Doesn't that seem reasonable to you?

Someone like the "teacher" -- who actively promotes bigotry, discrimination, hate, and their religion being enshrined in our laws -- will always vote for the (R), always. The (R) candidate's criminality, immorality, and corruption don't matter.

Even running ourselves won't get us the office holder who agrees with us on everything.
We'd also have to get funded and elected.

I've both won and lost local union elections, and the process is soul-sucking.
I shudder to think what running for Congress would be like.

Actually, I have participated in other peoples' campaigns for public office and know to some small extent.
No thank you.

You wish. She has no sense of humor. She does have a lot of fear and hate, though, for those of us who post on The Nice Thread. You posting there with us, in ToxicWorld, makes you a bad guy.

BTW, she's not thread-banned from posting there. Ask her why she doesn't join in the (usually) friendly conversations.

There must be a lot of money and power and prestige available in order to make someone want to even try. It's certainly not "public service."

What makes you think that I don't just because you only look for the (R) on the ballot, Lushie Lucy?

No one candidate ever represents every single thing that any individual voter agrees with. If you believe that Trump, for instance, represents you, then you have more problems than this board can help you with.

When you are voting for candidates the issues they support are NEVER on the ballot. So your admission makes you a low information voter. Ricky Ricardo

So you don't care about the women that have to compete with men that have an unfair advantage.

Thanks for admitting why you are a MAGAT. Good to know!

I don't give a shit about sports in general, Beulah Mae. Two trans ppl winning a race no one but bikers heard of is not even a blip on my RadarOfImportantThingsToBeConcernedAbout. But you knock yourselves out. The rest of us will be dealing with actual problems because we're adults, not petty little gossips with the vapors.

Actually, what I've observed over a lifetime in Boston
is that more people vote for Reps on the basis of constituent service
than congressional voting record.

Anybody who's been in office a while
is somebody who been asked for and has delivered
small favors for a large percentage of his/her constituents.

That's part and parcel of living in Boston.
We expect our reps to help us
with certain types of personal problems,
and if they do,
they're there for as long as they like.

Perhaps it's different in rural areas and in really BIG cities.

I am of the left and do not believe Trans women should be allowed to compete in any 'Competitive Sport' against biological women.

I fully support them to YOLO and live their lives their way, but that does not automatically require access to Competitive sport, when the entire reason a woman's division, in competitive sport was original conceived was to create a space, where people with female biology (sex) could compete against same and not against male biology, which is superior for sport.

The big mistake made, as this trans gender debate emerged was that sport did not instantly realign to 'sex' or 'biology' instead of the now divided gender lines of 'men' and 'women'. When Competitive sport was created they never conceived the split between gender and sex, and thus the terms were considered synonymous. As the terms split, they did not react which caused this issue of 'Mens' and "Womens' divisions. IMO, had they instead stated, right at the beginnings, 'In the truest pursuit of equality in sport, we will realign 'mens' and 'womens' division to biology, which allows everyone born with the same biology the same access to compete against one another, excluding no one', I think this debate would never have got the legs it now has.
