Israel and the White House on Thursday condemned remarks by Donald Trump in which he praised the Iran-backed militant group Hezbollah and criticized Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over an attack by Palestinian Hamas militants that killed more than 1,300 people in Israel.

Trump, a former Republican president who is the frontrunner to become the party's 2024 presidential nominee, called the Lebanese Hezbollah, a sworn enemy of Israel, "very smart" and accused Netanyahu of being "not prepared" for the Hamas attack, which also killed 22 Americans.

This is the guy that praised Putin as brilliant for invading Ukraine.

All civilized people want the Hamas barbarians exterminated.

Yes, those leaders are all making their geopolitical moves at the correct time (knowing that the former USA is in a weakened state, currently having an illegitimately installed dementia patient as Chief Puppet).

Donald Trump’s inflammatory and artless comments about Hamas’ horror in Israel emphasize the defining characteristic of his attitude toward foreign policy and his entire political world view: It’s all about him.

Trump criticized Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, lauded Hezbollah militants as “very smart” and sought political gain from the attacks that killed 1,200 people by claiming that if the last election was not “rigged,” he’d be the American president and they’d never have happened.

The ex-president openly admitted a grievance against Netanyahu, complaining he had pulled out at the last minute from joining the US air attack that assassinated Iranian intelligence chief Qasem Soleimani in Iraq in 2020. Trump had previously fumed over the Israeli leader’s perceived disloyalty in recognizing he lost the election.

Israeli Jews love Trump.

^ That says it all.

This was so fucked.

Can you imagine if a Dem said this, or said that OBL was "smart" after the 9/11 attack?

Conservatives would be tripping over themselves w/ outrage and condemnation. And it's hardly the 1st time Trump has praised some of the worst dregs that humanity has to offer.

Imagine the orgasmic frenzy the Trumppers would be having had Biden said those things....

Hamas is not very smart... look at what is about to happen to them!

“He’s pissed off because Bibi praised Biden and the Biden White House for being supportive,” said a former Trump adviser, referring to Netanyahu by his nickname.

On Wednesday, Trump also lashed out at Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, calling him a “jerk.”

Trump chafed at a video in which Netanyahu congratulated Biden after he won the 2020 election. “He was very early — like, earlier than most. I haven’t spoken to him since. F--k him,” Trump told Axios reporter Barak Ravid, referring to Netanyahu.

Trump appeared to view the moment as an affront to his loyalty. According to Ravid, Trump has credited his decision to recognize the Golan Heights as part of Israel with helping Netanyahu politically at a crucial moment.

Guano, show me your support for Trump when he moved the US embassy to Jerusalem.

Your name Guano?
Reflecting on Donald Trump's comments in West Palm Beach this week about Israel, USA Today columnist Rex Huppke suggested that the former president is rapidly becoming more and more unhinged and is therefore increasingly dangerous.

Noting that Trump, in a speech in West Palm Beach on Wednesday, praised Middle East terrorists as "very smart" and lashed out at Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu – and combining that with other comments the former president made during the week – the columnist questioned Trump's mental stability.

Beginning, "Former president and current criminal defendant Donald Trump, the front-runner in the GOP presidential primary, is getting worse," he added, "I realize that’s a mighty high bar for him to clear, but he’s doing it, each day showing independent voters and Republicans who still value sane leadership why he should never be allowed within 10 square miles of the White House."
