X/Twitter Hides Legitimate News While Misinformation Flourishes

Reliable news sources didn’t appear in the “top” results for Gaza searches on X. I found mostly propaganda accounts posting biased content of questionable authenticity. The X algorithm favors this content, perhaps driven by likes and shares by bots or real accounts sympathetic to the cause of the poster.

Similar searches on X competitor Threads showed posts from news organizations and individual posters with content that looked less propaganda-like.

At a time when people want good information, X seems to promote extreme, unverifiable content.

The decline of the print media has made people think that "internet news" is really news.

If you wanted real news, you should have kept your newspaper subscriptions.
At least you knew where those writers went to j-school.
Too late now.

The internet is a place to check out the new cars on the Ferrari webpage
or send an email to an old friend that you haven't seen for a while.

You can also confirm that you lost PowerBall again.

If you go to it for news, however, you're just trying to pretend that reliable news still exists.
We're in a dark age, regardless of how much electricity we're using.

All you have to do to learn this is look at the Twitter shares here by some of our RW members. It's not so much that the ideas and opinions on the shares are crazy and false -- it's that some poor sap is so stupid that he shares them with others as though they were real. H10 is famous for this; so is Tommy ThaiGuy.

internet news is MORE reliable than legacy media because legacy media is GUARANTEED to be on the take from deep state and big pharma.
