I truly would look at Gaza now before professing how smart Israel's enemies are. Hamas just caused untold of destruction in Gaza with probably 100 times the number of deaths than suffered by Israel and now the shithole hamlet is going to become a bombed out shithole hamlet with no food, water or electricity. I would not refer to that as a "smart" move.

Nice that you will treat terrorists as scum but Hezbollah is in Lebanon not Gaza. Hamas are the terrorists about which you speak and your ignorance of the entire situation is almost as bad as the first guy.

Snoopy, what you fail to realize is Hamas doesn't care about their own lives. Trump was correct, this was a colossal intelligence failure. Makes one wonder with this clown car of "experts" in office, what don't WE know?

From what I've read on this, Hamas put over two years of planning into this attack. It's more akin to some insane criminals plotting a jail break just so they can commit a few more crimes before dying in a blaze of glory gunfight with the police. That isn't brilliant. It might be cunning, is definitely evil, and certainly lacks any long-term exit strategy.

But Hamas' stated goal is to kill lots of Jews and they seem interested in little else, so I'd say this time they were successful in that respect. Problem for them is there likely won't be a next time, and like evil criminals in general they really don't care who gets hurt or killed in the process...

Israel's IC did fail and they were outsmarted by Hamas (and Iran) . But I believe Hamas will in the end be destroyed by their success in attacking Israel. I also believe you cherry picked what Trump said. Remember what theologians say. " a text out of context is pretext for error." Find the transcript of the whole speech before you jump to conclusions.

Trump? Trump is a walking, talking, and breathing example of an intelligence failure!

The first thing Trump did in his administration, was invite Russian Ambassadors to the White House and reveal Top Secret information about Israeli Security, naming sources and locations.

Since Trump banned the US press, and welcomed in the Russian Press, we only found out about it on Russian Television!

Trump should have been removed from office the day we all found out about this!
