The Repubs voted him in and then voted him out. Damn, do you lie a lot.
Note, the Nazi segment of the GOP won. Scalia is horrible. He supports a national abortion ban. He does not believe in climate change. He is voted 100 percent by the NRA. He said he is "David Duke without the baggage."
And Scalia is not as crazy as Jordan. It shows the far right MTG part controls the Repubs.
Are the insurrectionists really the minority in the GOP. It certainly does look that way,

Gaetz filed to remove McCarthy (MTV - motion to vacate) because McCarthy passed legislation with Democratic votes and not a majority of Republicans.
Gaetz said he would continue to file the motion over and over if McCarthy didn't agree to not use Dem votes to create majorities in the House
On the vote to remove the Democrats didn't vote with Republicans. (Supporting McCarthy's attempt to stop Gaetz from refiling a MTV for using Dem votes to create a majority.)
But somehow it's the Dems fault that McCarthy didn't survive his MTV?

Final answer - if the Dems voted to save McCarthy, Gaetz would just refile his MTV which would have continued forever.
