How did Israel and the U.S. miss what Hamas was planning?

All those criticizing or blaming Biden for the attack should ask themselves this question. One article I read states the US, UK and Israel have the top three intelligence agencies in the world.

One complicating factor was a lack of political unity after the election of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, a controversial figure.


Thousands of people in their military service and their intelligence service actually resigned in protest,That has created a really big breakdown.

Egypt told Israelis that a Hamas attack was imminent. Some experts said Israel relied almost 100 percent on satellite and technical data at the expense of human intelligence. Bibi ignored the warnings.

A deliberate ignoring?
 
The first thing was you wouldnt really consider they would do this as the backlash would be suicidal like what we are seeing now.

Second was that Israel was being too lax. "Cancer" patients were conducting suicide attacks and the Netanyahu governemnt was still granting humanitarian permits. Obviously they let too many goods inside the blockade too. After this a tighter watch will have to be kept on the Palestinian population. We need to stop listening to leftists bang on about human rights as well. Shoot right away if they get out of line.
