Joe Biden has faced huge questions over his ability to run for a second White House term following a catalog of embarrassing moments.

Interviewing Joe Biden was "the saddest thing" because the president seemed confused and "couldn’t finish his sentences", a former ESPN host has said.

Sage Steele told comedian Bill Maher on his "Club Ransom" podcast that she interviewed Biden back in March 2021 for a pre-recorded segment ahead of MLB’s Opening Day that year.

But she said the president, who has faced questions ahead of the presidential election over his age and ability to serve a second White House term, "struggled" and said "trailed off" on some topics.

this young woman also claims Obama isn’t black, so meh, on her opinion of Biden.

He didn’t know who she was, why is that surprising? I’d never heard of her, either till today, had to look her up, guess you’d have to watch her former program on ESPN to know her. It wasn’t in person, so chances are, he could have been distracted by other more pressing issues. He wasn’t that into her interview.

She’s also been pressed by Republicans to run for office, so this could be another reason for her criticism of Biden. She’s speaking their language.
 
They're hiding him these days...there won't be any interviews that aren't totally scripted... you can bet on that... they can't chance him speaking extemporaneously at all... they have him scheduled at 1:00 this afternoon for a good reason... they need a couple hours for him to practice what they need him to say and what they absolutely don't want him to say...

He has spoken on all the problems of today. You are being dishonest again. I suppose the news you watch chops up his statements for your hateful pleasure. Not really sure how this is newsworthy in the sense she's basically saying what many others are (or thinking). Even large numbers of Democrats think Biden is too old and would like someone else to run. (Although maybe it's the shock he did an interview with someone that wasn't a Democrat/liberal?)

It also could be she's a black woman with heterodox political views. That often doesn't go over well in certain circles.

Well...that statement was not only an hour and a half late but it was a disaster.... as usual he's telling some weirdo personal story... babbling in his creepy voice and then he just turned around and left... as usual won't answer any questions... I'm sure they don't allow him ...he didn't say what America wanted or needed to hear... we don't know anything about what's going on... and what the plan is... it's a good thing we have reporters and news coverage from Fox to depend on...
