Correct, there are parallels. Not only Apaches but Native Americans across the Continent answered displacement with violence for 250 years. Why is it do you think Native Americans haven't fired rockets into Phoenix these days, and aren't likely to?

The war with Mexico ended with a treaty under which Mexico was paid $15 million dollars, the same that U.S. paid to France for the Louisiana Purchase, along with other guarantees and financial commitments to Mexicans living in the new territories. Besides this, your comment is beside the point. Didn't suggest Palestine be "given back"; only that the violence that has erupted was inevitable.

That said, this calls to mind the atrocities committed by ISIS. Hamas are not freedom fighters. They are terrorists, and they took pleasure in inflicting pain on people that they have chosen to demonize. There are no caveats to my condemnation of this attack.

I also condemn anyone here on either side that politicizes this. We've already seen threads from the haters who are already blaming Biden for something that he hasn't done. And no, the citizens of Israel did not deserve this. That is also a nonsensical position to take.
