I'm starting to think this war will be won on the battlefield, not by civil disobedience in Russia.

That's why it's important to not let MAGA defund Ukraine.


The anti-war activists and their networks are in Russia have been locked up or driven into exile.

Even average Russian citizens who thought invading Ukraine was a huge mistake, think it would be a bad idea at this point for Russia to lose the war and be utterly humiliated.

Creating Russian bodies to send back to Russia are done on the battlefield, but like Vietnam, the war will be won or lost on the homefront.

Putin still have the option of tactical nukes, gas or other WMDs.

I think you're right.

The reason Putin hasn't ordered a full military mobilization yet, is because he fears the social blowback from Russian society.

From a strictly military standpoint, Russia should have been put on a total war footing a year ago.

Correct, but there is one major difference between Vietnam and Ukraine. Vietnam was half a world away, with absolutely no strikes on American soil. Moscow's airports are shutdown almost every day as possible strikes happen. Russia's capital is hit on a regular basis (with small strikes so far). Russia's arms industry is beginning to be hit by a growing number of strikes.

Russia is having more and more trouble hitting Ukraine with airpower, while Ukraine is finding it easier and easier to strike in Russia.

Ukraine is actually taking effective steps like blowing up submarine dry docks, air bases, and Black Sea fleet headquarters.
 
This was a US run operation to take out an empty historic building, the fleet HQ's was long ago moved, as the US had to know.

Pure PR stunt.

While Russia's naval forces in Crimea had been left relatively alone for much of the war that Russian President Vladimir Putin began with the invasion on February 24, 2022, strikes on the fleet increased not long after Kyiv ramped up its military activity in Crimea during its ongoing counteroffensive.

Ukraine hit the headquarters of the Black Sea Fleet in the Crimean city of Sevastopol last week in a strike that Kyiv said killed at least nine and wounded more than a dozen others. Only a week earlier, a major Ukrainian operation on the Black Sea Fleet's shipyard severely damaged Russia's Minsk Ropucha-class large landing ship and Rostov-on-Don Kilo-class attack submarine.

I am sorry informed debate upsets you so much, but I do not think I am to blame for Putin's failure. Why is it so important to you that Putin is successful?
 
BTW: The Russians have figured out why the Western Regimes are so desperate to destroy Russia, why we hate them so much......it is not just that we wish to resume the rape of Russia that was going on before Putin put a stop to it, it is also that the WOKE Suicide Cult cant allow old Russia to survive, it must be destroyed as Old America and Old Europe were destroyed. The link to the past must be broken in order to get to UTOPIA.

Now that they have figured this out expect Russia to get more aggressive in fighting for what they believe in.
