My M.I.L is 80 and in early stages of dementia. She's got Fox on t.v. all day, but not because she was ever interested in politics. Her husband was a staunch Limpbaugh/Hannity guy and he's recently in a rehab. facility. So she's got the t.v. blaring the same nonsense as it did when hubby was home.

She calls my GF dozens of times a day, and often starts muttering whatever nonsense comes into her head at that moment.

The other day, in the middle of some rant, she comes out with 'some guy is selling pillows on t.v.'.

I couldn't stop laughing.

it was not an impeachment hearing. it is an impeachment investigation, That means they have nothing to impeach on and are using tax dollars to try and find something. McCarthy uses congressional investigations for political purposes. He wants to harm Joe's chances to win. He bragged about it when he launched investigation after investigation on Hillary.

Even if Slow Joe admitted on live TV, that he did accept bribes from foreign governments to use his influence to help our enemies, China, Russia etc., these far left Democratic Socialist loons would say that bribery does not rise to the level of impeachment even though it's in the Constitution that it does.

When Biden starts to change his story..."I never discussed business with Hunter," to "I was never in business with Hunter," we know the truth is coming out and Biden has to cover his lies.

They were chomping at the bit during all the talk of the '22 'Red Wave'.

They thought they would have a 40 seat majority and run roughshod over Biden.

Without NY's gross failure due to out of state gerrymandering, Republicans wouldn't even hold the House at all.

From day one, Republicans set out on a mission to duplicate the fantasy that was referenced in trump's laundry list of adjectives he concocted to detract from his crimes while in office.

The first calls for impeachment were entered on the day after Biden was inaugurated.

From there, this embarrassment of a political party proceeded to step on their collective dicks for years.

I'm sure they will all be banned, but I'm wondering what the history books will look like when they reference the last 8 years?

I thought they offered quite a bit of evidence to support a guilty verdict for trump.

Isn't that the purpose of this proceeding?
