Time for Ukraine to train more pilots
Russia is a lot stronger that it was when this started, and getting stronger still, as a military, as an economy, and as a society. The demanding of this war has been a catastrophe for the dying West.
The f-16 is no match for Russias integrated air defense, which is much better than ours is, they are the best in the world at it....by a lot.
The f-16 is one more iteration of the magic weapons systems fantasy spun by western "experts" who are completely incompetent at their jobs.

At this point I bet Ukraine wishes it had never given up the nuclear weapons to Russia to secure an agreement that Russia would never invade and that along with the US they would take "keen interest" in the war should any other nation invade their borders.
Ukraine already knows that Russia lies, will not keep a promise, and wants their territory. As long as Vladimir Putin is in control of Russia this would be a very temporary agreement, he's stated the goal of regaining the satellite states of the USSR as part of Russian territory... I don't think he'll be giving up on that.
Biden allowing them to put in that fricking pipeline (Nord Stream 2) allowing them to have 2 pipelines that would circumvent Ukraine to get oil to Europe, this was the basic catalyst for this war. Blowing them up didn't resolve it, unfortunately, because it was already ongoing.

Ukraine never had control of nuclear weapons, and I dont know that they ever could have gotten it had Russia refused to give them the codes....which they were never going to do.
Nonsense. Even Iran could take the core and use it for new weapons. The fear was they would lose control over them and bad actors and terrorists would get them. None of this changes that they gave them to Russia in exchange for that agreement. One of the nations in the agreement lied, and it wasn't Ukraine, nor the USA...

They did it because "they never had control" and "never could"? That is what I called nonsense. They could, there were scientists in the Ukraine that absolutely could have taken the core and remade them even if they never got the codes to launch them, they worked there, they helped make the things, they lived there, they were part of the USSR before the fall. This idea that suddenly everyone in Ukraine was unable to do these things is absurd.
