So they are calling for Snow here in West Palm Beach tomorrow....

You can no longer tell me that something is not up with climate change!

It is truly amazing how many gullible people there are out there. Now we have idiots believing that no matter what the weather does, any extremes must be caused by 'global warming' oh wait... now its 'climate change'... tomorrow it will go back to 'global cooling' like we had in the 70's... then back to the 'ice caps are melting' like we had in the early 1900's....

At the same time we will rotate between swine flu, SARS, avian flu, bunny rabbit flu, spider monkey flu and attack of the killer apes.

27 in Covington, obviously GW is making winters colder. The environmentalist are right, your dogs are causing this. Kill them now.

I'm stuck working my Friday off and tomorrow as well for Year End. The tennis God's lined it up as I wouldn't be able to play anyway.

No biggee. It snowed in Florida in the late 70's.

Weather is cyclic. No need to holler, "The sky is falling" everytime something strange in the weather happens. We're having an extreme cold spell here. Was 8 this morning and supposed to be 4 tonight with a high of 16 today. We never have that kind of weather here....or do we. In 1987 it was so cold here in SE OK that the creek froze over and some drunk drove his Nova across the swimming hole, up the creek and did donuts under the bridge. It's happening again but so far no drunk. ;)

1) It has always been climate change.
2) Glaciers are melting in historic perportions.

I dont know if its man-made, but I am sure the climate is changing.

I was here, I remember...

10 years ago when I first went to BC and saw the glaicers they were MUCH larger than last time I went. I hear they are almost gone now... These are glaciers that were there for 40,000 years!

What about them? If glaciers were meant to last forever we'd still be in an ice age. And you mean "almost gone"...

It is a sign that the climate has gotten warmer than it has been for the past 40,000 years, at least in BC.

And when they say "almost gone" they obviously aren't looking here:

It isn't really. It is a sign of less precipitation which is effected more by the air flow and the planetary wobble. Every 20,000 years the Sahara becomes wetlands...

The climate is, has been and always will be changing.

The fear mongers have NOT always called it 'climate change'. It was 'global cooling' in the 70's, 'global warming' in the 80's and 90's and NOW they are going with 'climate change' because they realize the earth has not been continuing the warming trend for the past decade.

Were glaciers ALWAYS there and ALWAYS as big as they were in 1850? Or did they grow during the mini-ice age and then now are shrinking as the earth warmed up during the 1990's? Are all glaciers retreating? Or just the ones cherry picked to show catastrophe?
