Trump appears to be coasting along a smooth path toward the GOP nomination. He is favored by 54 percent of Republicans, while Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has dropped from being favored by 25 percent of Republicans to just 15 percent since May.
The man who was, at one time, thought to be the only figure in the Republican Party who could take down Trump has, according to one recent Fox poll fallen 47 percentage points behind him.
Despite facing 91 felony counts across four indictments, Trump's numbers across polls are not budging. In the WaPo poll, 53 percent of respondents said he is being held accountable under the law as anyone else would be, but 40 percent - including three-quarters of Republicans - say he is being unfairly victimized.
