Republicans, as admitted by McTurtle, plotted to make Obama a one term POTUS. They refused to allow even their own pet projects to get passed. I forgot if it was Norquist who threatened any Republican who reached across the aisle?

Now that just seems to be the status quo when a Democrat is in the WH.

It's no wonder Congress has such a terrible approval rating for years now. They think it's a joke, while we suffer.

Isn't that the case of all opposing parties? It crosses the line, as you pointed out, when they cut their own programs to do so. They are no longer serving their constituents, much less the nation, but only serving their own party power.

There was a time when each party accepted that their candidate wasn't a winner, and they set out to bring home the bacon via compromise. As they are paid to do.

Now it's about obstructing each and every aspect of our govt in order to deny the opposition a 'win'. Then, they point fingers and scream 'failure' during the next election.

Unfortunately, there is a large swath of the new electorate who were always bored with politics and never participated in the past. Now they are fascinated with the Gerry Springer show, and elect morons like Bobblehead, M.T Geico Greene, and other morons. Bobblehead is gone in the next election, but Geico typically runs unopposed.
