What did the Democrats fail to do that you claim was included within the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986? I know you are a technically stupid person, but try to support the claim that you made.

So AOC and her toadies showed up at the Roosevelt Hotel in NYC. They tried to have a news conference. New Yorkers basically heckled them off the stage. She and her toadies looked like deer in headlights. It was very funny. I remember when Liberals mocked Abbott for sending migrants to NYC. Abbott is the one laughing now.

^That never happened. The funds were never made available by Congress for that, and it wasn't solely Democrats, but it was mostly Democrats

voting against the funding for it in subsequent years.

Furthermore, sometimes they did vote for the funding, but it got raided before making it to any border-control agencies.

As Ron DeSantis sent out his minions to say 'don't worry we won't enforce the law', to farmers and Hospitality Business owners, after passing harsh rules preventing them working, and seeing the panic in businesses who rely on that cheap labour, (such as all Trump properties) this is just a myth and lie, the right spreads to justify their hate of others.


There are simply many industries in the US that will cease to exist in America, if some type of migrant labour accomodation, is not made, to fill these low paying American's wont do and where the flexibility to raise wages is not present.

Low paying jobs? We filled those jobs when we were young. Why can't the younger generation fill them like we did?

The difference being Trump was separating children from their parents intentionally so they would never see their parents again, as some kind of a cruel punishment.

Because the immigration laws, unless updated, something the republi'cans' will never allow, do not allow for those seeking asylum to simply be deported.

And your idea that you are simply going to force young people to go out and pick produce in farmers field is naive and dumb.

For American farmers to compete and get their produce on grocery store shelves, they are competing with produce grown in Mexico at mexico cost structure. If you force the cost up on American farmers citizens will buy the stuff from Mexico and elsewhere and we simply lose the vast majority of American farming.

It is better to have American farming and lower prices in the store, by allowing the migrant labor to work here than to lose it. And you are not going to get todays youth to rush out into the fields to pick cotton or other crops simply because you tell them 'back in the day when we walked up hill both ways to school, we would have been happy to have that low paying job'.

You are stuck living in a past mindset and wanting society to revert back and adapt to that and it is not happening.

Provide any funding to secure the border after Reagan granted amnesty to 3 million illegals. Republicans did it, too.

Even if you accept todays younger people are 'lazy', and that is why they will not do that work, fine.

So where do you go from that? You cut off all the migrant workers who are 'not lazy' and will do that work, and now you have farms who cannot get the work done, and the young 'lazy' people won't go do the work either?

In your world do we pass laws requiring the young people to go work on farms or just let the farms die?

(we won't even address in this post how the US farmers sell their produce if their costs go way up. Maybe we pass a law demanding US citizens buy them any way and not the less expensive stuff?)
