The goal of any socialist dictatorship is to create a three caste system. The Oligarchs who control the means of production and 99% of the wealth. The apparatchiks of the state who are given creature comforts and stability. And the 90% bottom who live in abject poverty. The proles MUST be kept in poverty for the state to maintain the dictatorship.
California is rapidly approaching this. A $20 minimum wage is designed to undermine the earning power of the middle class. The Oligarchs are unaffected and the state will inflate the salaries of the apparatchiks. But what was a decent wage a year ago is now minimum wage with costs rising up to meet the new poverty.
This is all by design.

Plus he does love to say that word... gets a little excited every time....It is 3.39 at my corner station. We should all thank Biden for dropping it from over 5 bucks. It is another job well done. Of course, Lyingfish had threads about gas prices and egg prices when the prices were high. None were offered when the prices dropped. Lyingfish is simply not honest and not seeking debate.
