No in fact it is a stupid question by a stupid person.

It is the Republi'cans' who do not want this to go forward and that is why they won't call the vote McCarthy himself said was REQUIRED OR IT WOULD NOT HAPPEN, just a short few days back, and that is because they have done the counts and know the cote will be sunk due to Republi'cans' voting against it.

The Executive sets the Rules for the Executive. And Trumps Executive and DoJ put in place a binding memo that today still dictates that none of the Executive Branch, can or would participate in any Impeachment Inquiry, if no vote is called.

So while McCarthy can say 'stuff it, we are not voting on it', the Executive, which means the WH, DoJ, FBI, and IRS can and will all say 'all our people are off limits and will not respond to any of your subpoena's.


So good luck with that.

:rofl2: Hey moron. The legislative branch makes the laws for the DOJ and not otherwise. If they subpoena members of the DOJ they have to comply. The legislative branch has oversight on the FBI. Is it painful to be as stupid as you? Remember when Christopher A. Wray tried to not comply with the Congressional subpoena to give them the 1023 form recently. He ultimately crumpled when threatened with contempt of Congress.

Who enforces House Subpoena's and then prosecutes those who ignore them?

Do you remember Mark Meadows and Pence giving the House the middle finger to testifying?

Be less stupid.

If the Executive literally has a binding rule in place saying that without a vote, the HOuse subpoena is not worth the paper it is printed it on, then good luck enforcing that toilet paper.

Trump's DoJ passed it very specifically so they could give Nancy Pelosi the middle finger if she did not call a vote.

Hey idiot. The Trumpus showed subpoenas can be ignored. That was OK for them, the Dems should have that right too. However, they may respond positively because they are not hiding crimes.

Do you not understand that it is the DoJ that has to decide to prosecute or not, the House referrals for contempt of a Subpoena?


So lets play this out. The House subpoena's a bunch of people in the Executive. The DoJ reads the rules and guidance which say 'unless they called for a vote it is MEANINGLESS and you do not comply'.

The House then says 'you are in contempt of HOuse rules...Indict and prosecute yourself'.

The DoJ says 'we are in compliance with DoJ rules... go fuck yourself and do things the proper and required way or pound salt'.


Then what you simpleton? What happens next in your addled mind?

What happened when Jim Jordan and Kevin McCarthy ignored subpoena's and it was up to Trump's Doj to prosecute and that was for a PROPERLY CONSTITUTED impeachment investigation with a vote. The House still had no power to enforce it even though they were in the right.

This time the DoJ would be in the right and following their own internal rules. The rules they MUST follow due to seperation of powers.

The Trump administration set the president that members of the Executive Branch can just ignore congressional subpoenas, and I support the Biden administration just following the precedent you and Trump set.

the House never pressed any of the subpoenas.......probably because they knew they weren't going to find any evidence.....remember, Nancy was just phishing for a crime at that point.....

So calling it corruption for the DoJ to follow DoJ rules and not Legislature rules, is just stupidity.


The DoJ (Trump's DoJ) has made it crystal clear how the House gets the DoJ to comply and its a simple one, just take a vote. Or don't but then do not expect compliance.

That is something McCarthy agreed with until last week and you and i and the DoJ see that. A Trump Executive and DoJ would ignore any House subpoenas without the vote and McCarthy would tell them they were right to do so.
