Fox hit with another 'significant' lawsuit over false claims in 2020 election: report

"The lawsuit, filed in the Delaware Court of Chancery, is the most significant shareholder action since Fox settled a blockbuster defamation lawsuit brought by Dominion Voting Systems in April for $787.5 million. The city’s five pension funds represent nearly 800,000 current and retired workers and are worth $253 billion," the report said. The state of Oregon pension fund is also joining the lawsuit.

Filed in DELAWARE!!!! That is biden's home state. The plaintiffs know the judge and jury will be extremely biased towards them. Same thing happened in the fox/dominion lawsuit. That's why fox settled.

Our legal system is the worst in the world. Facts and law don't matter. If you are conservative and are sued in a blue state, you will lose.

The suit was filed there because Delaware is the home state of the Fox corporation. The state's favorable tax laws make Delaware the most popular home state for corporations in the country. Not surprising an imbecile would think Biden caused it.

It's an interesting case.

This is from The New York Times:

"New York City’s pension funds sued the Fox Corporation and its board on Tuesday, accusing the company of neglecting its duty to shareholders by opening itself up to defamation lawsuits from the persistent broadcasting of falsehoods about the 2020 presidential election.

The lawsuit, filed in the Delaware Court of Chancery, is the most significant shareholder action since Fox settled a blockbuster defamation lawsuit brought by Dominion Voting Systems in April for $787.5 million. The city’s five pension funds represent nearly 800,000 current and retired workers and are worth $253 billion.

'We are shareholders at a company that, unfortunately, has a longstanding practice of allowing conspiracy theories that its executives and its board know are false to be repeated over and over and over again, despite the very clear and present risk of defamation lawsuits eroding shareholder value,” said Brad Lander, New York City’s comptroller, who oversees the pension funds. “And there has been no effort to make governance reforms.'"

Amazing the number of times “text” has to be educated on the very threads he starts

By “neglecting its duty to shareholders by opening itself up to defamation lawsuits from the persistent broadcasting of falsehoods about the 2020 presidential election,” was all explained in the post

Hmm. I'll have to see if any of my ETF's or mutual funds in my 401k have stock in Fox. I might have a case.

Fox settled because they had no case. They admitted on air they had no evidence their claims were true.

They already settled the case w/ NYC pension fund? Wow, that was fast. The lawsuit was filed yesterday.
I wonder how fast I'll get my check if fox in my portfolio.
