Teen Sex...

Jarod, why did Obama call out black men about being better fathers? Is it the President's job to tell people how to be a father?

He should not have done that in my opinion, its not his place. The fact that I voted for him, even though I agree with him, has nuthing to do with the fact that he called on men to be better fathers.

Calling on someone to be a better parent is different than condeming mothers for going it alone.

1) Was it a Vice Presidents place to make moral judgements about whats on television? Is that not more the place of a Pastor or priest or such, not the place of a government official.

Jarod, why would a President make a moral judgement about what's in movies?

President Bill Clinton ordered the study in a June 1 news conference.

"Our children are being fed a dependable daily dose of violence, and it sells," Clinton said. "Kids steeped in the culture of violence do become desensitized to it and more capable of committing it ... I have strongly urged people in the entertainment industry to consider the consequences of what they create and how they advertise it."

I do not belive such a statement is the pervew of a president and wish they would stay out of such social issues.

Yet it is still different than condeming single mothers for going it alone.

While Tipper Gore was not an elected official she was the wife of a sitting Vice-President who lead the charge for warning labels to be placed on records/tapes/CD's.

Should the Vice President's wife get involved in moral issues like this?

No, many liberals including myself were against that. Again however she was not an elected official. Personallly I belive she should have stayed out of the culture wars....

I did not, if you read that into what I was saying it was all you.

So you already admit liberals want to get into your private life like the examples I showed above but you were out to private that social conservatives do it as well?
