Labor is legit pissed off still that they in past years negotiated huge give backs on the claims that this was required to keep the automakers going, and then the automakers used them to pocket huge profits and thus huge compensation to executives. Combine this with the fact that the automakers are having huge problems making EV's and I think that equals that the legacy automakers are in big trouble.

The problems with that are many....the payments are long delayed/uncertain and America now remembers about inflation...the dollars paid in profit sharing are worth less than dollars paid when the work is done

Do you spect that the workers think that the books are kept properly? I think I remember that the union is supposed to be monitoring the creation of the numbers but who anymore trusts the union bosses?
